I get 2 calls a day from this number. The message they try to leave on my voicemail has never been a complete message and I have never known who it was. Some Female on an automated response. Now after reading these comments, I at least know what they are about. If I have the patience to wait long enough for a human to answer my call, they will receive a loud whistle at a frequency that will quickly c****e their at***ude about further calls.
The collectors are allowed 1 phone call per day and 5 days a week ONLY
They are a medical collection company - not****ociated with Piedmont Hospital - if you have any outstanding medical issues - that is why they may be calling you - I requested an itemized bill from them to research and verify if it is legit. I recommend other people to do the same - do not provide credit card information over the phone.

Chuck I hope you didn't copywrite your fight because I intend to to do the same thing! I just received a call from these people at 10 PM, thats illegal in Georgia. I answered but all I heard was a crazy automated voice telling me this was not a sales call, AT 10 PM!!! I googled it because I have no idea what is going on and then I called back and left a voicemail with these people letting them know they couldn't call someone this late at night. I have never, ever been to Piedmont Hospital, I live in North Georgia. What you did is not childish it is hilarious and RIGHT!

I have decided to fight fire with fire. I keep calling this number, (roughly 100 times to this point) and when a person gets on the line and says "Patient Accounts, How can I help you?", I respond with "You can't, I'm only trying to annoy you and waste your time just like you annoy me and waste my time.". Childish? Of course it is but it does give me a laugh. I would reccomend that people do the same thing. If nothing else it will tie up some of these ignorant people and waste their time. Possibly even tick somebody off enough to quit.
Have been receiving calls from mostly agency's looking for a Lester Johnson. Ihave moved into this area in January 2009, and was unlucky enough to be****ignedthe phone number of this wayward gentleman, most have the decency to correct theautomatic calling, but not this one. All I get on caller id is HC and 678-250-***5.
The "new improved" CallerID says "Hollis Cobb****ociates" for this phone number. No one in my household was ever a patient at Piedmont Hospital; however Atlanta Cardiology was taken over by Piedmont Heart Ins***ute within the last year or so and I'm the caregiver for one of AtlCardiology's former patients. I got numerous calls from this number yes****ay for bills that were submitted to our insurance in 2006 and 2007 and were considered "paid in full" for what the insurance paid to AtlCardiology.

Thank you for you message Dave!!!!I sooo appreciate it...I am caregiver for my 88 years old mom, and am glad I have an answerphone on her phone and that she is now in****isted living because these people called 8 times in only 3 days...I know that had she been home she would have gotten all shook up and gave them information that she should not have..Thanks a***n for the help!!!! This number is from Patient Accounts Bureau. They are a collection agency representing Piedmont Hospital a****st others. If you call them back you will be placed on hold for 10-20 minutes with a recording saying how important this call is and someone will be with you shortly. When you are connected you will speak with someone with limited English s****s. They will have no information as to why their client is trying to collect a debt. Do not give them any personal information but insist they provide specific information so you can decide if you really owe their client money. Most of the time your medical insurance is slow in paying. Suggest you call Piedmont (or whatever medcial practice you've recently done business with) and find out what the real situation is. I consider Piedmont in particular very ****** since they make no effort to resolve billing issues directly with their patients. They turn everything over to PAB regardless of the merits of their claim. I have had three separate dealings with PAB over Piedmont issues and I have been able to resolve every one with a supervisor at their accounting office without paying a cent.
It keeps calling saying this is not a sales call.
