Text scam about DE-ACTIVATED Visa. Verified as scam by bank.

Same as everyone else on this forum....text message saying call back because your visa debt card is deactivated. I have reported this to the FBI as well......

I got a text messages indicating that my card is deactivated,but I was su****ious about it because it originated from a local number .I called my bank and they****ured me that it is a scam.It is holiday season every one needs to be careful.

Received text and called the number with a different phone. Total Scam as I entered '0's for every number and 1s for the pin and it told me my card was now activated.

I go ta text from this number also. I reported it to the FBI. We will see what happens as a result.

Same as other user. Text stating "CARD SERVICES WARNING: Your Visa Debit Card is temporarily DE-ACTIVATED. Please give us a call at 678-296-9620" Ummm. I'm not going to call

They send you a text saying your debit card has been deactivated and ask you to call their number. Once you call, they ask for your account number, expiration date, PIN number, everything. It is a scam - do NOT give them your info. Call your bank if you're unsure.
