Why would I care if your books get delivered? I didn't request one.
DITTO! I own a very small, local, business - 90% of out of area calls are telemarketers (read s*** of the earth) even since the idiot FCC ******ly allowed numbers to leave their home area code. I can't afford a receptionist to screen all this raw sewage.short story - if it does not come from MY area code I have to ignore it.
I don't think people are perinoid, or hiding from collectors. If I don't recgonize the name or number I do not answer the the call. If it is important, they will leave a message!
Paranoid much, folks? Hiding from bill collectors? Answer the phone.SDDS is a telephone book delivery company. All they are doing is quality****urance to make sure your telephone books were delivered. All you need to do is say YES! And they will stop calling.
I'm calling to confirm that you received your Embarq phone book. And are you ____?
Got a call from this number asking to confirm if I recieved the new phone book. The call doesn't make sense because the phone companies don't confirm if you recieve their phone book, they just deliver them.
Called today to see if our company received a copy of the Yellow Book telephone guide, asked for a first name, to which I always give a fake one.
