Leave a CommentAdding on my comment below, i called my phone company about that number and when i told the person at customer service she immediatly ***g up on me.
Got a long distance charge fee from my phone company but i never dialed that number. It is shown : Atlanta, Ga (georgia).
Call claimed to be from Solar America of Miami, FL, but would not give address and as the were calling from Georgia you know this is a scam.
I suspect either a prankster or telephone verification for hacking purposes. I suggest c****ing all your important passwords and follow strong password guidelines. Indian/****sani/*******: May I speak with (my name)? Me: May I ask who's calling? Indian/****sani/*******: (**** up)
The caller was ****stani or Indian, maybe. He said he was from UPS and wanted to speak to ... I would not give out any information and when I began to question him, he became irritated and rude. UPS wouldn't refuse to give a call back number or contact information. He refused to give any call back number or reference but stated he'd call back tomorrow. Besides, UPS also wants to deliver ASAP and they generally have all the contact information (email, address, etc.) this was a SPAMMER. Don't give them any information.
Some Indian or ****stani man called and he****umed I speak Urdu. He asked if I am from India or ****stan and I would not tell him. He said he has a package from John Peterson and that he was from UPS. Supposedly the package has my email address only. I am not sure how he got my work number. He wanted my address at home and my after hours number. I gave him my home number but not address. When I did not give the address he cut the call short. SCAM!!!!
