This company needs to be reported to the states atty generals office. The Indian rep who repeatedly calls continue to threaten jail time if a debt is not paid. This is a violation of the fair consumer debt act. The creditor who sold this account to this company should also be held accountable in any lawsuits filed.

My evil soon to be ex husband told me he paid all the medical bills but was holding them until they went to collections in my name. So now I get these calls.

hollis cobb. they called me from 601-713-1010. they will threaten you. they did it to me. these people are crazy.

Got the some caller ID message from this number.. Also, they call at bizarre hours, like 7 am.  This is a medical collection agency based in Norcross.  I get about 7-8 calls a day from them with no message. They seem to be more into harrassing and intimidating than anything else.  The insulting name they put in their caller ID shows a lack of professionalism on their part.

It is not illegal to leave a message stating that you are calling about a debt.  Federal law and the Foti Act states that you must disclose you are calling about a debt.Furthermore, unless the collector is told it is a cell phone, and not to call, then you can still call the number.

I called them back and told them that one, leaving messages on my answering ma****e that they are attempting to collect a debt is illegal, and two, any further correspondence needs to be in writing, not by phone.  "Well you have to put that request in writing to us" at which point I got irate and told them they needed to put so****ing in writing to me first since I don't know them from Adam and am not going to turn over money to someone I don't know.  Personally, if it is a legitmate bill, I will pay the original biller, not a debt collector.

As per a comment above, this phone # 678 969 7840 also shows up on my caller ID as "A*S H."  Probably a bill collector. which for me, would be one of many medical bills I have as I am legally disabled.  But I do think it's rather funny that "they" are willing to admit that when the calls are being made to us, it is probably from an "A*S HOLE."  But when I have called back, I've never rec'd an answer, nor has a message been left on my home # and I can't remember if I have ever rec'd this call on my has his own pay as you go cell phone so he can register the cell to "A** H" and is using the list of names that people may have bills & this is just "their" twisted way or prank to get some kind of  cell #. Do you think this could be a person that may work for a collection agency, but yet has this cynical but adolescent kicks using his work list to let "us" know that we are going to get a real bill collection agency from this "A*S Hole Company" that he works for.

You have legal rights and are protected by the Fair Debt Collection Practice Act.  Also known as the FDCPA...  Please visit http://fair-debt-collection.com/ to obtain more information about what a creditor/collector can  or can not do legally. Sounds like this collection company is going beyond their legal limits to by harrassing and threatening you. You can make a formal complaint and/or bring legal action a***nst them. this person called me at work when I already had told her to not to do it. The check bounced (no reason because money was there), so I told her that my husband was at the bank at the moment to try to figure it out what happened, she trethened me to call the police. I told her to do what she has to do.... What are they, idiots, what part of I am at work and there is nothing I can do at the moment they cannot understand.

A call like this is so simple to resolve.  The caller needs to simply leave a message regarding the subject and company.  Why scare the cr-- out of people?  Identify yourself.  That is all we are asking.

This is a patients account bureau (Collection Agency).

called to my work and left a message saying that I knew who they were and what the call was in regards to.  Left the name Ms Perkins.

Called me today said, "Calling regarding an important business matter." is this a collections agency?  The caller ID said HCA.

They left a message on my cell phone's voice mail.  As I understand it, this is illegal; no one is allowed to call you on your cell phone UNLESS you SPECIFICALLY authorize them to do so.
