Tried to convince me they were Verizon & someone had charged 2 phones to my account

asking to buy an item @Nextdoor

Showed interest in buying an item on nextdoor and asked to text on their phone no. saying they don't check nextdoor account.

Reached out about buying a Nextdoor-posted item. Proceeded to try and phish me out of a $1,000.

I'm selling a GE solid state console phonograph on Nextdoor and the person messaged me showing interest. Gave the number and said to text their cell. I attempted to contact via text without success, so I decided to look the number up and found this.

Responded to ad on NextDoor, requesting to pay for item via Zelle and wanted email and phone number.

“John” expressed interest in an item posted on Nextdoor. Wanted to pay via Zelle. Haven’t heard from him since denying payment option.

He was trying to buy some items I had on NextDoor and when he didn't get what he wanted he stopped rea****g out. SCAMMER!!!!!!!!

Pretended to be a buyer on Nextdoor and sent 5 messages trying to get me to text this number. The messages were of a pleading nature.He stopped messaging when he saw I was not going to give in.

This person messaged me on NextDoor wanting to buy an item I was selling but preferred me to reply to that number. Really sketchy vibes from it so I had to look it up.

This person is a scammer and is seeking to take advantage of people. Be very careful and continue to report.
