Scammer on Craigslist contacted me via email

This number is fraud and scammer. Here is what he wrote on my email this morning. I'm interested in the listed ad , Text me back on 682-292-8370 with the final price Thanks Jay

This ****** works through e-bay and craigslist. Corresponded with me via text. Said he'd send a certified check for my item listed and his movers would come get the item. I asked him if it would be better if I just gave him my social security and bank account numbers and skipped all the semantics. No further response.

got email from this fellow names Jerry about an ad on craigslist "I'm interested in the listed ad , You should text me on 682-292-8370 with final price " Thanks Jerry ?Did not ask questions nor did he haggle. price was listed as well so sounds like scammer to me tried to call but got no answer. TXT the number that i knew he was in Euless TX and that i was finding the IP info from the message in email as we spoke to report him.
