That is because the do not call list is the best resource for marketing companies outside the US (since they do not have to obey US law) as well as those using VoIP and c****ing the callerID and caller name to attempt to convince you to part with your money..

Recorded call for debt relief.  Got a call yes****ay and today and am on the do not call list.  Called the number back and got another recording to press "1" if I wanted to be taken off the call list but it could take up to 72 hrs to process.  Great.I ended filing a complaint at this link (http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm) who knows if it will do anything but I am so tired of getting these calls on my cell phone.
