Register your phone number(s) on the National Do Not call registry at www.donotcall.gov. Then if you get solicitor calls 30 days after registering your phone number(s) they are violating the law and you can report them at donotcall.gov - the form is easy to fill out and takes only 1 or 2 minutes. Also, if you do answer these phone calls and speak to these solicitors, you can then advise them you are on the Do Not Call registry and they should not be calling you. In my experiences, they do not call back after that.

From "solar initiative" - asked for me by name - I asked "who is this" and she said "solar initiative," I tried to interrupt her spiel and she mocked what I was saying and kept on spiel-ing, so I simply raised my voice louder than hers, called her a few choice names beginning with 'b' 'c' and 'w' and told her to take my number off the list. I dare the 'b' 'c' 'w' to call me back.
