Id himself as someone from the FOP (Fraternal order of Police) when I challanged him to prove it because there have been write ups concerning the FCF and their being a scam. He told me that I wasn't nice and he wasn't a scam. I replied the this phone number out of Las Vegas was, and he tried to tell me he was calling from Carson City. Not sure how to get them to stop calling....

This number calls daily and never is anyone on the line. I think this a service that calls your phone number to see if you are at home at that time of day and then sell you name, number and times you answer to telemarketers.

Received a call from this number several times.  Sometimes they say it's for the "Fireman's Fund" and today it was for the "Police Officer's Fund".  Nice try.  I just ***g up today, but then they called back an hour later and I just picked up the phone and didn't say a word and waited for them to **** up.  Really getting tired of this because I'm on the do not call list.  A lot of good that did.

Called the number back.  Get a recording that states "the number you have dialed is not valid".  Now I know it's a scam.  How do these people get around the Do Not Call list?

As most of those who have already commented, this number has called numerous times in the last two weeks: as we answer, they **** up. I agree that the police needs to get involved--seems to me that they are checking to see if anyone is home--not a pleasant thought.

Keeps calling my home number (which is on the national do not call list) and just ****s up when I answer. They **** up without leaving a message if the answering ma****e gets it. Please make them stop! This is annoying.

They call, they say nothing and **** up if I answer, they **** up without leaving a message if my voice mail answers.

I got a call from them today at about 4:00 PM. They left no message but I'm sure it is the same rip-off group that has called before wanting money for the Firemans Charity Fund, which is bogus. In these instances, I do believe the police should be permitted to trace the call, get thier location and arrest all involved. A warrant needs to be issued to find the location and arrest the whole lot of them.

I got a call too from that number. Several times over the last few months. I dont answer if I dont know who it is. At least most bill collectors leave messages. FCF did not! I reported them too. Think my next step will be to locate the address and show up.. If it even really exsists! Fraggin' people!

Claims to be Fireman's Fund and Police Fund but neither Clark County Fire Department nor Las Vegas Metro Police acknowledge either organization. People who call all have hispanic accents, I suggested they get a real job.

They call and ****-up. Did some investigating and they try to scam people to donating to some fireman's fund.

Just got a call from 702-256-5005 from FCF at 6:10P.M. Donations for policesaid not interested and ***g up.

I just got a call from 702-256-5005 asking for a donation to the Police benevelent fund.  I told him sure, give me your address and I'll bring it over....he ***g up.  These crooks need to be stopped.

No one was there - maybe their ma****e was broken, I'm sure it was a telemarketer.

What good is complaining to FCC if this number and the people behind it continue to harass people. The FCC should get off their ***s and notice that there are least four websites that are full of complaints from this number and shut it down and impose a hefty fine and some community service time for their efforts. I would ask for jail time but I want to deter them not give them a few weeks at a government resort.

I been getting a call from this # and A guy called and said I just call to hear your Vioce and*****o and he ***g up on me.. He wont tell me who it is or what he wants..

I got a call from (702)256-5005.  The person did not speak English and I****ume asked for a person that I didn't know.  The background was very noisy.  I ended up ****ing up on them.

I got a call from 256 5005 they did not **** up, but would not answer when I kept saying*****o. I called the number back and got an answering ma****e. I told them that I thought they were rude and that I was a senior citizen and handicapped. I told them not to call a***n as I would not answer.

I got the same call and it was just a ****-up call. Very annoying. It occurred at 9:18 pm PST

Got a call a minute ago from the same number and ID. Male voice said "Hello?" and then just ***g up.Got calls from that number before as well, same thing as what KB above reported!

They've called me three times in the last 4 days, each time I answer they **** up. They called late last year soliciting for the "fireman's fund," which is a sham. I reported them to the FCC.
