Leave a CommentJust got a call from these s***bags saying that my BankAtlantic debit card was going to be suspended. Since I don't have an account there, I knew it was a phishing scam to get my card number, and ***g up when I was asked to enter the card number.
I got the same call this morning at 11:23 saying that my Card was going to be canceled if not verified and wanted the card number.. they knew my bank name and all.. so b very careful
I also received a call from this number Sunday/Dec. 4 at noon with a message stating my debit card was lost and needed to access them to update inf. I ***g up and will inform my credit union with their number which says it's based in NV. Note: I recently replaced my debit card and not sure if this is a coincidence or if they access inf. from transactions on the internet. Don't fall for their scheme.
I got a call on my cell phone from this number that was automated stating that my 5/3rd debit card was being locked and in order to get it unlocked I needed to talk to their security dept. I ***g up and immediately called my bank and they took the information and took care if it for me.
it's 6:45 AM and I got a call from this number. REAL creditors will not call at this hour first of all. I did call the number back and the ma****e said what the first poster listed...."you have reached the restaurant at the golf club....." Not only have I never been to NV in the recent past, it all smells VERY fishy!
No, not spammer,,, SCAMMER! I received a missed call from this number and when I returned the call it says "you have reached the restaurant at the golf club at south s****"... right.... I wish there was an effective ****od to put a stop to these scammers
I called back and got an answering ma****e from a business. My mobile phone indicated that it was from NV. I don't have this credit card so I just ***g up and called back to see who it was. I immediately got onto my mobile service and blocked the number. They are active and oblivously successful...they need to be shut down!!
Same story. Automated phone call stating my GE Visa Debit card was locked and to press 1 to re-activate it. I put in a bunch of zeros, which came back invalid. I pressed # to see if I could get it 'wrong' enough times to speak to a real person. Never did. Called back and got a message of a woman yelling or screaming incoherently.
This number called me and a computer recording said that my Visa card was suspended. I ***g up and redialed the number a got a voicemail recording of a kid screaming in the back ground. Do not let these people steal your credit card info!!!!!!!
