Leave a CommentCaller calls advertising carpet cleaning special. I'm on the National Do Not Call list and I believe this is the same company who has called me before. I called the number in order to tell them not to call me but you just get a recorded message saying to leave your name and number and someone will call you back. When you call them the recording says Spotless Carpet Care.
I've been receiving automatic phone adverti*****ts from a carpet cleaning business for months, despite the fact that I am on the National Do Not Call registry. Very Frustrating.
You may use the FCC Form 1088 to complain about: Telemarketing issues, i.e., (1) junk faxes, (2) telemarketing (including Do-Not-Call violations), and (3) other issues, such as pre-recorded telephone messages, automatic telephone dialing systems, and unsolicited commercial e-mail messages to cell phones, pagers, and other wireless telecommunications devices. If you provide enough information to indicate a****ential violation of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, or the FCC’s rules, the FCC will use your complaint to pursue enforcement action a***nst the violators. This enforcement action could include forfeitures.
Make sure you file a complaint at the FCC website listed below. They have, and will, take action. The Nevada State Attorney General refuses to enforce the National Do Not Call so you can file a complaint at donotcall.gov but it won't do any good.
Here is the link to the local news story about them trying to rip people off when this company used to be called Chapman Carpet Cleaning. Be sure to click on the "Part 2" link at the end of the story. http://www.kvbc.com/Global/story.asp?S=1869493 Also the BBB report with all the complaints about this company now calling themselves Authorized Cleaning Service or ACS is here. http://southernnevada.bbb.org/rptrel.asp?bbbid=56291
This is the same carpet cleaning company who has been ignoring the Do Not Call list for years. They used to be called Authorized Cleaning service, but go by various names. Local Channel 3 news did a story on how they rip people off. You can search for it on google. FCC has taken action a***nst them before and their calls stopped for a year but have now s****ed back up. Please use FCC online compalint form so they can take action. FCC complaint form https://esupport.fcc.gov/form1088/1088cform.do
