Total scam - a "phishing expedition".  And it isn't even working right!  It told me that my visa card was deactivated due to irregular activity and that I should press 1 to reactivate.  Fuguring it was a scam, I would have thought that pressing 1 would them ask me for my card number, which of course I would not have done,  But it just keeps going back to the same message.  Obviously a scammer, but not a very good scammer at that!

This is the second time these people have phoned my cell number in the last week.  We have no Mastercard accounts or debit cards that are Mastercard at our house.  Called in the evening the first time, other time about ten minutes ago (about 10:20am pacific).I also tried to call the number back as I am at work, and they have a message that says it won't go through, it sounds like a message they created and then dump the call without the option of leaving a message (probably smart for them).

Got three calls from this number in the last day.  It's saying my debit card from WaMu is locked and to press 1 to be transfered to security, then press 1 to activate it.  I tried pressing 0 to talk to someone, it just repeated to press 1 to activate.  I didn't want to go any further, so I ***g up.  I tried to call the number back, but it can't be  completed as dialed.  Annoying!  I've never even had a washington mutual account. lol.  I just want the calls to stop.

Called me at 1:13 in the morning, 13 min ago. Didn't answer, wish I did, who the***** calls at 1:13 the freakin morn.

Just called me saying the same thing. I just happen to be too smart!

Same call. "Your Washington Mutual account is locked. Press 1 to transfer to security." Who are they? Why can they exist so long?

scam artist tried to call me, but I didnt answer. Good thing I googled their number for this info

Also got this call and knew it's a scam.  WAMU???  Not been around for awhile.

Same thing "your Washington Mutual Debit card is locked" ***g up after that.

Just got a call saying my Washington Mutual debit card had been suspended. Problem is that I don't have an account at Washington Mutual. And when you try and call the number back it didn't go through.

This is DEFINATELY a wrong number. Do NOT give them any personal info!!! Contact your bank directly if you are concerned. Also, kind of funny how they are calling an ex-Washington Mutual employee...did they not get the memo that the company died in 2008???

This is definitely a phishing scam. I walked through it for a while to see how far it would go, and it got all the way to "please enter your 16 digit card number". I ***g up at that point, of course, but it's definitely a scam to get your credit card number. Don't give it to them!

I received a call for this number on my cell phone, but was not able to answer it as I was in a meeting. No message was left. I tried to return the call and it was a bad number that could not be completed. hmmmmm...

A recorded message (received at 12:34 A.M.) said that my WESBANCO account had been locked. I *DON'T* have an account with WESBANCO! Who are these people?!? The I.D. box read "unavailable" under the phone number.

Recieved a call from this number just moments ago telling me to press 1 all my accounts were locked. I pressed 0 to speak to an operator and it ***g up...fishy. I'm glad I googled it and saw other people experianced the same thing. Who is this?

Said my card from ? bank was locked.  It said to press 1 to unlock it.  I knew it was a phishing job, so I pressed 1.  It never would go any further, lol.

Rec'd a call from this # but fortunately I was asleep at the time of the call which was:  3:45 AM

Said my bank account had been  closed.

Got call from 702-410-7802 telling me my mastercard was locked and needs to be reactivated, only problem is i don't have a mastercard.
