Window's Tech Scam. I use Linux, so they are cold calling.

Wanting access to your pc. Do NOT co-operate with them for access to hack your computers. Foreign accent! Can't understand them! Wanted to know if I knew 2 persons by name? Said he worked for Windows & Geek 100. SCAM BIG TIME!! **** UP ASAP!!

Same thing as others have reported. Definitely a scam.

Call claimed they were working for Windows (i.e. Microsoft) and they had been attempting to contact me about computer virus problems / concerns

Claimed my Microsoft Windows computer has an infection. Asked which computer was affected. Said Windows 7 system. Told them I have a Mac. Click went the phone

They said they were calling because my personal computer is saying he was receiving malware or malicious things… I told him, "I have no computer. " He ***g up.

said my computer had a virus. I told him they call about 4 times a week, I know its a scam and I record all incoming call. If they keep calling I will press charges. he ***g up

Said my computer had a virus. Said he was calling from Reno. I said my caller ID said Las Vegas. Said they had offices there but he was calling from Reno. He finally ***g up on me. I just was keeping him on the line. Never gave him any information. Just another Scammer.
