just received a call on my cell from this number--- no name no message---thanks to your postings I will never answer a***n.

Just got the recording about lower interest rates on my cell (1:25pm EST, Feb 19, 2010).  Based on this site alone, I know this scam has been occuring from this exact phone number for at least two days.  I wonder how hard or long it is for authorities to track this number back to the original scammer?

These *****s called my tracfone. No free incoming calls.

I just got a call from them and it's not the first...Someone previously posted their e-mail address as:[email protected]'m going to try sending them an e-mail.  As far as reporting, try doing it through your state attorney general's office.  They should be able to do so****ing about it.

Pressing anything to opt out does no good.  These scammers just move from company to company.  There is no master list to be removed from.  Each telemarketing firm that is set up to make these calls s****s with a fresh list, with your name still on it.

Interesting, few minutes ago got a call too from this number. Did not answer because caller number is unknown. I live in northern Quebec province. Had idea to check by GOOGLE and found this site. Thus, looking at area codes it was from Nevada. Wonder how thay got my phone number. They did not leave any message on my answering system. Thanks for your shared experience about it, Seems like being somekind of tele-marketing. They just called my cell. I answered to the sound of a recording already mid-message, so even if I had wanted to listen to it, it useless anyway. I called back, reached a recording. Recording said to press 1 if I wanted to be removed from the list, so I pressed 1. I was told to wait 72 hours. I sent an email to [email protected] (thanks StLouis) politely expressing my desire that they die in a fire. Uhm, I guess all I can do now, all any of us can do, is hope they don't call a***n. I absolutely despise this practice, and would never do business with anyone who used it, even if they offered a service I may have otherwise actually been interested. Don't cold call me. Ever.

Just called my home phone which I did not pick up because I did not recognize the Nevada phone number.  Interesting since I only recently gave this out to a company called University Alliance who handles online degress from Villanova.  Wonder if they are connected or they just resell their clients phone numbers.

I also live in Mtl and had the same experience: English recorded message on Feb 17 at 11:50am - asked for me by name - and was inquiring about my credit card (rates, etc).  Just ***g up but really annoying.

I just got a call from 702-520-9116 on my cell phone also.  Their message said so****ing about getting lower rates for my credit card.  The recorded message said to press 2 to discontinue further notices from them, so I pressed 2, however I remember receiving calls from them in the past and I remember pressing 2 then also, so obviously that doesn't do anything to stop them from calling.

English automated female message advertising a lower interest rates on credit card. Unable to talk to a real person after dialing #1 has suggested  (get ***g up). I live in Québec and don't own any credit card in USA. I report this to my local police department who suggested that I called my bank to verify if they published my name and phone number on a list since I own a Mastercard. I called my bank and they suggested me to make a formal complain to PhoneBuster at 1-888-495-8501.

I got a call from 702-520-9116. This was an automatic message: the voice told they wanted to check so****ing about my credit card and this was sure nothing related to my real credit cards companies, because the voice spoke in English (I'm french speaker living in Montreal) and I know the companies wouldn't have used such a way to communicate with me. I ***g up before the message finished, but sure it was not honest. I found out the number comes from Las Vegas.J'ai reçu un appel de ce numéro, c'était un message automatique, la voix disait (en anglais) qu'elle voulait vérifier quelque chose à propos de mon compte de carte de crédit, elle énumérait différentes compagnies de cartes, bref, c'était certainement de la fraude. En plus le message vient de Las Vegas... rien à voir avec les compagnies avec lesquelles je fais affaire, qui ne m'auraient pas contactée sous cette forme.
