called my cell on Sunday, July 4, 2010 from 702-554-1465 to offer me a subscription to the Atlanta newspaper. I told him that while I had a Georgia cell number we were military and no longer lived in Georgia so we didn't need the service...he then ***g up on me. I thought it was odd that he would call me from a Nevada number...possi­ble scam alert. They have also called three times since then, but I haven't answered...the­y don't leave voicemails either.

I've received ~ 9 calls from CNG at 1-702-554-1465 in the past 3 days -- several in the late evening. I answered all calls, nothing on the other end. Some background "clicks", but no message. I've begun shouting "You called me! Either have so****ing to say or stop calling this number."

THESE PHONE CALLS ARE AGGREVATING.  WE GET THEM ON BOTH OUR CELL PHONES AND HOUSE PHONES.  THERE MUST BE A WAY TO STOP THEM!!!!

I got two of these calls today and once when I was trying to take a little nap!!!! Then several during the week while I am at work so annoyed right now!

Seriously....these people just called me TWICE in NINE (9) minutes.  Waking me up on my God-given much needed day of rest.  I'm going to see about rejecting the number...

These calls come in just when I need a nap. You can't call back and I'm on the no-call list. What a pain! If this is about my newspaper subscription, journalism is really sad.

Recived a call from these people today and reported them to the FTC.

They called, no one there, I blocked their number. Maybe it is gangstalkers. Maybe is is the ones with the 500,000 coffins in Georgia. Maybe it is from one of the 800 FEMA concentration camps across the United States. Maybe it is from Bohemian Grove. Maybe from the Navy buildings in San Diego that are shaped like ********s.C

Same as everyone else -- constant calls from this number to my cell phone. Since it's a business number, not answering is not an option. How do we stop them??

calling me several times per day. No message. When I answer they **** up...maybe I'm letting it ring too long...but it's very irritating.

Google 702–554–1465 Other people report odd calls from this number, with no one on the other end and a constant busy signal when they try to return the calls. The number can be tracked to Searchlight, Nevada. But tonight, CNG spoke to us at last, asking if we wanted to subscribe to a nearby city’s paper. So CNG would be a call center (and my guess is that N is for Newspaper). Now the question becomes how to get off the list.[Update, August 22, 2009: 702–554–1465 is serviced by Pac-West Telecomm, Inc. Pac-West’s number is 1–800–511–9048. When I called, I was told that Pac-West would send CNG an e-mail asking that my number be removed.After getting yet another call, I called the paper and spoke to someone who knew nothing about Searchlight, Nevada, but who promised to look into these calls. Today I received a call from “Mobility Services” in Elkhart, Indiana. I was told that the calls are part of an eight-week promotion for 185 newspapers. As of Aug 29, 2009 no more calls have come in.

This party used to call from 702-544-1465.  Fortunately my phone company provides a number rejection service. I can block out entire area codes, exc****es and extensions.  It gets expensive for telemarketers to reach me unless there is caller ID s****ing which I think is going on here.I think this party is using PBX software called "Asterisk" http://www.asterisk.org/ and they have modified the software to s**** whatever number they wish. The extension remains a constant. It would be almost impossible to track these people unless they are foolish enough to call a toll free number and track them by ANI. Perhaps these are lonely aliens out in Area 54 that want to stay in touch with the common man.  Maybe?

Call several times a day, usually 2-3 times, never leave a message and when you answer no one is on the other end...just dead air.  I called the number back today and got a recorded lady saying "all of our agents are****isting other callers please hold for the next agent"  I got waiting music and then it sounded as if someone picked up the phone and ***g up then it was a loud screa****g noise in my ear...I ***g up then.

It's the Saint Paul Pioneer Press offering a 13 week special.  You can be asked to be taken off their call list but they persist.  This was the fourth time they have called me in the past two months.

same thing - calls 2 to 3 times a week - no msg left. call back, no ring tone, no msg.  Bizarre.  area code 702 is located in Las Vegas, Nevada and also encomp***** most of Clark County, Nevada.
