Leave a CommentVERY rude and unpleasant scammers. They claim to be from Verizon and when I told them they could send me so****ing in the mail, he rudely cut me off and said, "I don't tell you how to do your job, don't tell me how to do mine," and ***g up!
I got scammed today buy this number. Her name was Tracey Carter "with a C" Oh God. Anyways she made it sound like she was giving me a courtesy call from Verizon and told me my business line rates will be decreasing. Thats all i thought it was. Then says we will s**** getting bills from One Touch. Never heard of them. She made it sound like One Touch is owned by Verizon so its no big deal etc, and she kept throwing in the FTC to make it sound like they were trying to protect our small business. She gave me two non working phony numbers. I called them both. No answer after half hour of waiting. I'm embarrassed that I fell for this. So i called Verizon and had them put a block on anyone c****ing our phone service. THIS IS A SCAM PEOPLE. DON"T FALL FOR IT.
They called a***n today. This time I kept asking the woman what she were saying ("I'd like to speak to the person in charge of the phone account") and telling her it sounded like she was suggesting so****ing terribly rude: "It sounds like you want to hold my... well, it can't be what I think it is, especially since the technical term would be '*****' and not what I think you said." She didn't know what a ***** was. Wow, and she (obviously) has one!So after three or four of those I got bored and gave her an 809 number that's been used in scams. You can google such numbers for yourself. Use newer ones as they are probably still ripping off people. Don't buy the hype that the caller will be charged ***dreds (or thousands) of dollars; the usual scam robs you of small amounts, around $25 or $50.
The calls are from a company called OneTouch (but which Onetouch? Who knows?), a telecom wholesaler. I love messing with them and making them annoyed. Keep asking them to repeat what they've said, say they're dropping out, and eventually tell them that their phone service is awful. Talk to them while dropping out pieces of your words-- "I'm te...ing you th.... I ..an't he... what y... ...aying."They get terribly frustrated. One kept trying to tell me that they WEREN'T a cell phone provider (they aren't). "Oh, you're a cell phone provider? Great, I need a new one. Do you support the iPhone?" When the guy said he wasn't, I replied "It sounds like you said you do support the iPhone. Great! Lemme get two!"He eventually ***g up on me.

When this number calls do not answer what so ever. They are a third party agency who will ask you to turn activate certain feature codes on your telephone line which will open up the phone line for them to program and bill you!
Call often, and are SCAMMERS claiming to work for Verizon. Don't fall for it!! Unpleasant as can be as well, especially when you call them on it. I wish I knew who they were, would love to chat with them face to face. !

We get a Call from this number 702-688-5020 at least once or twice a day. They **** up as we answer and say our company name.
Received a call from this number on October 27th, 2010 @ exactly 1:13 p.m. Answered my phone with a simple*****o, and got a Mr. Click. I returned the phone call and was greeted with a recorded message stating that the phone was disconnected or is no longer in service. This is the fastest disconnection or out of service response in history. If this caller is supported by Verizon I want to know why? Stop enabling the phone harrasment.
Claim they are from verizon. They pulled that scam in August at my business. They****ured me they were from Verizon they can reduce your long distance charges. Fell for it what they did was switched my service I have with Verizon to another long distance service. Multiline Long Distance. Didn't know it until I got my next verizon bill. I reported them to Verizon switched back to Verizon. They call me today with same scam. I have been receiving a call from this number every other day (sometimes in the morning, sometimes in the evening around 6 pm) and there is never anyone on the other end. I did a "call back" but the recording said that it was a "non-working number". This repeated calling is a nuisence and is getting to me. I am not a happy camper. Quit calling!
They call every day at various times but leave no message.
