Received a text stating (call:702932 1758-UrgrntMessage Beacon Credit -) 441767******** Account limit. Called number and said they have lock the account due to security, I ***g up after that and decided to check out numbers and credit union, to find out it was Phishing scam.

Got a message from "[email protected]" which said "(Western Union Important Notification. Contact: 702 932 1578.)" Called up the number and it asked for my debit card info citing my card has been blocked for security reasons - which of course sounds fishy and I did not give the number. I later called chase to confirm that my card was fine. Always only give out your debit card number when *You* make the call to the number *on the back of your card*. They list the customer care number right on the card for a reason. Don't get scammed! -AK

Received a text message from [email protected] : (call 7029321578-urgent message-Beacon CreditUnion-441767********** AccountIssue). Never even heard of Beacon Credit Union. I did not reply, figured it was a scam. Googled the phone number it said to call back, and HERE I AM :)

I got a text message from this number saying my credit union account was limited and to call this number. They have the first 6 digits of my debit card number in the text and I don't know how they got that info but I am investigating.

Left a message that it is urgent that I call them back. Not doing.

I also received the "Call: ImportantMessage-BeaconCU" I googled Beacon CU, and apparently it is a credit union that I had never heard of.

New scam text states important message from Wells Fargo. When you call they want your SS and Debit card number

I also got a call saying it was an important message from Wells Fargo. I did not call the number, did anyone actually call it?
