Here's the scam:They say they are from Verizon and that they are c****ing your long distance service to Peak Communications.  Then they say they need Third Party Verification and another person got on the line and said my local calls would go from 12 cents a minute to 6 cents a minute.  I said WAIT.  I don't pay anything for my local calls -- what are you saying.  She then repeated the same thing.  I said this sounds like a scam and she ***g up.I next called Verizon and they confirmed:  SCAM!Just **** up on them.

I got 4 calls from this number today.  My caller ID says it AIC.  When I answer they **** up.  I called back and the message says leave a number if you want to be put on the do not call list.  I called XO communications fraud department.  They weren't open so I left a message.  Hopefully it works.

I received several calls from this number over the past few weeks; finally today I answered and they said they were a rep from Peak Communications and were calling about my Verizon home telephone service and wants me to switch to their long distance company.

I keep getting calls from this number and I too have called the number back to inquire what business is trying to contact me and not leaving messages and it just says input your phone number if you want to be included on our Do Not Call List. I did input my number to be included, yet I am still receiving calls...I answer and then they **** up on me!!

Scam to try and get you to switch to a discounted phone service. They do not speak very good english. Sounds like they are calling from India. Uses phone numbers

I have had calls on two separate occasions at my office by individuals who identify themselves as calling from Verizon and they request to speak to the "person in charge of the phone bill". Both times I have advised that the individual who handles the bills is busy, they have been downright rude, saying things such as "don't even try that with me", and "it's a simple *****in question".

Just got a call from this number now.  Luckily I did not answer the phone as I did not recognize the number.

Maybe you have the wrong idea about this site.    It exists so that people can exc****e information.     It does not belong to any authority with power to take the sort of action you seem to suggest.As citizens we help one another and on many occasions gather information that helps ourselves and users of the site in general to find a way to stop these unwanted calls.It is a case of power to the people rather than power from an authority.     There can be a huge number of complaints on here before someone somewhere provides the information to deal with the offenders.

My question is:  HOW MANY REPORTS DO YOU WANT TO RECEIVE BEFORE MAKING A MOVE TO FIND THIS PERSON OR "THESE PEOPLE" AND STOP THIS SORT OF HARASSING/SCAMMING PHONE CALLS??The reason for my question is that I have seen a hand full of complaints already submitted and/or posted here. Therefore, why do you still delay your investigation in order to stop this?  Instead we are being asked for more complaints each time someone checks online to find out about this number.  It seems that there has be up to one million complaints before action is taken to stop these kind of people from harassing ordinary citizens.I AM DISAPPOINTED.

I recieved a call from the number 7029382507 the caller does not talk and I don't like such a call

They called my business as soon as i said the business name there was a pause of silence and then they ***g up. Phone number was listed as a private caller

This number has called my house at least four times a week - no one on the line whenever I answer, no messages left. When called back, it prompts you with a message system for leaving your name to be added to a do not call list. This has not worked. This has been on going for several months.

I sure hope they catch this idiot w***ver he or she They need to find a life..

this number is calling my house several times. I am just curious who is calling me from this number maybe it is some sort of scam. I have a private number dont knoow how they recieved my phone number..

XO Communications says that this is a s****ing scam. The caller ID 702 938 2507 is not the number that is actually calling you. So maybe someone has a grudge a***nst the owner of the 702 938 2507 # and is doing this to cause them grief.

calling this number back, the recording says, "Yeah, if you want to be on our do not call list, please leave your number."  However, it does not seem to be a professional recording as the greeting did not identify the "business" name nor the reason THEY may have called.  SCAM of some sort!!

woah, I had no idea this was such a busy caller. I've got missed calls from this number but I have never called it back. They don't leave messages and its just odd. I'm never home when they call so its not such a big deal but what the?

Woman said my wife's name in a questioning tone, even after I had answered and given her my name.  Then phone disconnected.  09-11-10 9:10 am PSTI called the number back immediately and a male accented voice message came on and said so****ing to the effect, "if you want to be removed from our calling list please leave a message".  Then was sent to an automated message that said the box was full and couldn't accept any more messages.

When you call this number back, the pre-recorded message states that " He is f'n busy right now"  This has to be a scam*
