Text asking to confirm this is [my first name] and whether I am still licensed in [my state]. Two similar texts when I did not respond. Blocked.

Recieved a text that read; "Good Afternoon! is this NICOLE? $" My phone reports the number as a number near Washington DC. I do not know anyone on the east coast. I have reported this number to my carrier and blocked the number as I will not be scammed by saying anything to them even to deny that as my name or having the text marked as read.

Asked me via text: "Good Afternoon! Is this NAME? $". Cold opener, no additional information given. Ignored it and immediately went sear****g for the number.

kept texting without a response from myself. said they were recruiting for a leadership class opportunity through the marines.

Day 1: " Good morning! Is this Jessica " Day 2: "Just making sure I have the right number, did you graduate from OSU?"

After 3 days of weird texts, they finally stated they're recruiting for the Marines.

Asked if this was ____ and then followed up asking if I graduated from ____. Weird part is I didn’t graduate from there, just took one online class…

Asked my name then a follow up several days later with my university

They asked if this was "my first name". I didn't respond. Next day they asked if I graduated from "my university".

They sent a few texts and said "Is this (my son's name)?"
