Called and said they were from the Washington Post. Were attempting to verify an address to deliver 'Sunday inserts.' Quoted the wrong address. Told the lady she had the 'wrong number' and she ***g-up. As I am a current subscriber, I suspect this is a 'SCAMMER' of some kind. BEWARE....!

I'm glad I googled this number because I get the same as everyone else, a missed call with no vm. Glad now that I now its nothing important!

They call once a day and never leave a message. Someone else mentioned the Washington Post and that makes sense; I cancelled my subscription a while back.

have been getting calls com this # as well. Tired calling it back with a different #, got Verizon voice mail that did not give a name.

I've been getting a lot of calls from this number, so today I picked up and they said they are from The Washington Post. Used to subscribe, so I figure they are trying to get me to re-up.

Two calls about 24 hours apart. Didn't answer

Received calls both today and yes****ay one around 8pm and the second before 9pm. Says welcome to Verizon Wireless and that the customer is not available at this time. Not sure if Verizon is able to do anything at this point.

Received call at 7:24 PM on 11/14/2011. I don't have voice mail set up yet, so I don't what sort of message they would leave, but judging from the comments below there probably wouldn't be one.

Have had about 5 calls from this number within 2 days. I let my anwering ma****e get it, but no one sys anything. There is only background noise

i've received at least six calls from this number since about 11/08 at all times of the day. i have not answered and when i call back it rings once or twice and goes to a verizon voicemail.

Rec'd four calls between 11/08 and 11/13. All calls come in the early evening, 5:30 - 6:30 PM. No one ever says*****o or leaves a message.
