I had an appointment yes****ay on base and got a phone call today! Hubby answered because I wasn't home. They wouldn't leave a message.

Seriously a VM of caller ****ing or whatever & moaning.

Called my wife today asked for me, she asked if she could take a message and lady abruptly said no and ***g up

If w***ver this is wants info, then they need to leave a message as to just who "they" are, otherwise I merely delete the number from my phone.  And, why do we have some unknown 'person' or en***y calling me?  I already receive, by mail, surveys regarding the service I receive from the Base and other medical facilities.  In today's world, any and all unknown phone numbers or organizations are regarded by me are possible scams -- I will not return the calls!

SDA is Service Delivery****essment...it's a survey to find out how satisfied you were with your medical care.  They don't ask any identifying info, just a few questions you answer on a scale of 1-5 as to how satisfied you were.  A LOT of people have incorrect phone numbers in the system, so if you get one by mistake, it's not a big deal. Also, they don't need your permission to call you.  If you don't want to answer, just say so.

It's Tricare conducting a survey. Most likely from a recent appointment you had.

Just got one of those calls without leaving a message.  Not calling it back and definitely mot answering it.

I got a call from 703-379-5456 today, had an appointment yes****ay at AF Clinic.  Curious how my phone number has been made available to 3rd party and will follow up.  In 62 years as military dependent, this is the first follow-up phone call for services rendered at military facility.  It is invasive and I was never told (nor did I give permission) that I would receive such calls.  This is an unnecessary, costly government expense.  They need to cease and desist.

I got a call from this number, and they didn't leave a message.  I called the number back and received a recording that it was survey about military medical care. I ***g up.  There is NO WAY that is legitimate.  Why do I know this?  Because I'm not in the military.  No one in my family is in the military.  I have never received medical treatment in a military hospital or by military personnel.  I am not an emergency contact for anyone in the military.

Its not there bizz to call and ask nothing! the fifth amendment fixes that!!they should send it in mail so i can throw it away with the other garbage!!this number calls my phone and ***her in laws in wisconsin?go figure???

Ok, so I called the number back, here's what it said."Thanks for contacting the Air Force's SDA(?)Line. This is an Air Force approved survey that gathers input to support local medical needs of the beneficiary's at service. Should you have any concerns issuing(?) the validity of the call please contact your military treatment facilities SDA point of contact or patient advocate and reference the SDA survey, survey ID 08-030."For me this makes sense since my appointments are at an Air Force base and I just had an appointment yes****ay.

I just got a phone call from them a few minutes ago but I was on the other line and couldn't answer. They didn't leave a message or anything. The first guy said it was his National Guard Recruiter.. Other people say TriCare... To me it seems if they were calling to ask about our care they'd go ahead and leave a message.. I am in the Tricare South region, so is everybody else getting calls from them in the south as well? Because North and South don't really work together so it'd be weird to have them call everybody from both regions.

Receive a call tonight.  Not home to answer it.  Retired Air Force, Tricare, had an appointment two days ago.If this is legitimate it would be nice if Google would turn up hits on a .mil site!  I'd like a news release on DoD Link or some such.I suppose "usaf pt sat" stands for USAF Patient Satisfaction...

Got a call this AM . Yes****ay had an appointment at Optometry. Too much of a coincidence. Maybe it is DoD survey looking for how the service was. Anyway never give out any info.

USAF Retired. Today (2/2/09) this phone number, 703-379-5456, showed up on my home telephone and above it were the words USAF PT SAT. Wasn't home to receive the call but no message was left either.

Hmmm You know I could say I worked at my base Clinic, or that I too worked for tri N care....Now I'm REALY su****ious!  TRUST NO ONE...Not even if they TELL you in an online BLOG that they're legit!

This is a customer service survey to see how your treatment went when you had an medical appointment.  If you listen or are able to get the call it will ask you how the service was.  This is from VA which is where the headquarters for TriCare is.  It is a very quick call...happened to me a few times and got sick of getting the call...then I listened and it was over!!

Wow, it is funny how everybody on here is USAF AD because so am I. All the same complaints as you all.

on oct1st i recived a call from an unknown number but i did not pay it any mind jus the num showed up then unknown.ok on oct8th me and friends and my husband came home i checked the caller i.d i had a missed call from usaf pt sat we tried calling back it was no longer in servise

I just got a call from here, at 7:27pm.  I also had an optometry appointment yes****ay.  I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the caller, and it automatically **** up when asked to leave a message.  Probably best not to give any personal information if you do pick up the phone, but there has been that recent push for medical service feedback surveys the last several months.

Recieved the call didn't answer and they did not leave a voicemail.

I work at the Med Group, this is an operator (like the appointment line). It is a legit number. It is completely anonymous, it is to make sure that members are reciving proper care. This way if you didnt like your Doc and you dont want to write a comment card you can just tell the operator. NOW if they ask for ANY info it is a scam the Contracted Operator should ask ONLY about if you recived proper care if you had any comments, etc. If they ask name, number, SSN, ***nch of Service, ETC **** up immediatly. You can also tell the operator at the begining of the call you dont want to answer and **** up. It's not Mandatory AT ALL. Hope this helps! :)

I am also AD USAF and received a call at 6:16 pm this evening AZ time from this same phone number.  I did have an appointment on Friday with Optometry but it was just to get a current eye exam to get contacts.  Sounds like so****ing to do with AD USAF but why would it be disconnected when we call back?  Kind of fishy to me.

This is a valid survey and is within the next 1-3 weeks all the base news paper will feature an article about this survey.  If fact the new Caller ID should read "USAF Pt. Sat" on Verizon...

Received a call from this number.  It was a person with a telephone survey regarding our dr. appointment on Friday, whether we were satisfied with the wait time, pain management, etc.

I received a call from this number at 1***, when we answered they ***g up.  We tried to call the number back but was told that the number is temporarily unavailable.

Wow...USAF AD I just got a call from this number while at a libary and didn't notice the call till the last ring.  I tried to call back like everyone else here did and got the temp unavailable message.  I did have a doctor appointment last Friday though so I am not sure if it's related to Tricare or not.

Also AD USAF just received this call from the same number...didnt answer. I called back with the same message of it being unavailable.

USAF AD Spouse, I got a call on this number on my business cell in the UK phone which the AF doesn't have.I Called back and it said the number was temporarily unavailable. Call orginates from Alexandria ******ia.

they called my wifes phone looking for me she gave them no info and they ***g up i called the clinic and tricare they said they have no record of this number and that they have nothing to do with this number. i called OSI and they said to not answer and dont give them any info. stay smart and dont give out any info at all!!!

I see alot of AD USAF notes made above so...The call came in at 7pm no msg, we did have an appointment that day on a USAF AD base.  It might be a number affiliated with Tricare?

USAF AD Spouse I got a call from this number on my cell but did not answer it and the voice mail kicked in.  It caught someone breathing right before they ***g up.  My call was at 1415.  When i called it back I was told the number was temp. unavailable.

I got a call a while ago.. cant say it was from this number.BUT.. it was from a survey .. it was the air force or tricare.. They had sent me tons of surveys i didn't answer them.They did not request any info from me, other than if I had been the person to see the doctor and how I felt about my care.Just got another survey AND a phone call from this number.

USAF AD, go figure.  Went to optometry yes****ay and got this call from this number today at 1802 central time.  Wasn't at my cell to answer.  Called back and it said it wasn't connected.  I can't say this is connected to the GTC info theft because I didn't have this number at the time, but it definitely sounds like some kinda scam.  Don't give any personal info to this, it seems like so****ing to report to OSI.

After resear****g several sites, this is a established phishing number used by telemarketers to either collect information on you or to validate a mailing/phone listing. Since they are not following federal law on phone solicitation, why do you think any story they would cite would be truthful?...and they do have several stories.  The source of the list they're validating may or may not be legitmate, but it certainly seems to have a preponderance of military members, former minitary members, and thier family members.  Protect your iden***y, don't answer.

If you look at the site whocalled.us, it reflects that this number is being cloned by some survey agency retained by an AF medical command or perhaps Tricare.  Either way, apparently it's just a rep asking a few survey questions, and that's the gist of it.  IF it is legitimate (unsure it is), not sure why the AF or Tricare would go through this medium.  They have plenty of other ways of getting info from us, terming it "mandatory" to compel answers.  If it isn't legitimate - then I'm not sure why this is going on; it serves no purpose I can determine.

I would advise you NOT to answer, to report it, and most definitely do not give any of your personal information to them.

Got several calls this week from this number... the only insights that I can add are that:1) my caller ID for this number showed "******ia".2) 703 area code is Arlington county ******ia3) When called back the recvorded message said that the number was temporarily unavailable4) My guess... just another *****in' telemarketer.

I receved a call from this number around 5pm I think it was the an Air National Guard recruter calling for me I have been in contact with them latley.
