Got a call today. I didn't answer! Glad to have found out who it was!!
Owners name is Julius Williams
Like others said, they're phishing for your credit card information.
I just got a spam call about credit card rate stuff on my mobile phone. I know it's spam as soon as the automated voice spoke....I ***g up.
Same deal as what was previously reported. This is a total SCAM - somehow they got a hold of my phone number, and were phishing to see what credit cards I have. I would love to track down these s*** buckets!!
called and didn't leave voice mail
I received an auto call telling me that I can get lower interest rates on my credit card. I thought that was funny since I don’t have a credit card and was curious as to where the call would go, so when prompted to press 1 to talk to a live “representative,” I did. Once a human got on the phone, in a very thick accent that I actually can’t ID because it was between British and Indian at the same time, she told me that she can lower my interest rate because I had never missed a payment, was never late on a payment, and I had never exceeded my credit limit. I thought to myself, of course I have never done any of these things because I don’t have a credit card at all. So, I asked her, “Which card?" She responded with, “We service Bank of America, Chase, CityBank…" plus one I don't remember. I responded with, "Really? And how did you get my name?” She then promptly ***g up on me before I could even tell her I don’t have a credit card! I didn’t even get a chance to laugh at her!! ******!! An attempt at returning the call results in a phone voicemail box that is full.
My accounts have recently been compromised and today I receive a call from this 'lowering interest rate' company. I kept asking in what card that I own are they referring to and they couldn't answer me. I asked to be removed from the list and I was immediately disconnected.
they keep caling i never answer though
This is a scam they say they will lower interest rates on credit cards and then ask for the expiration dates on cards. No way they need exp dates on the cards. Fkn crooks!
