Red Top Cab. I use them and I like there service, but why are they calling me? Especially on days when I didn't book them?

It's Red Top Cab.  It is their automated callback system whenever you request a taxi reservation.  If you think that their system is randomly calling you in error, you should give them a call at 703-522-3333.

I received this call on May 1, 2009 at 9:17 am and received it as a missed call.  I don't know what is going on with this number, but I am tired of it.  I tried to call about and received a looping phone message about knowing the extension of the person who called me.  I don't know who it is and want to know who is calling.  Please can you stop the flood of calls eminating out of this number.f7a6

This company should serious consider fixing this system.  Yeah, they may be legit, but this reservation verification system of theirs is very seriously messed up.I s****ed getting the calls now, and I'm nowhere near DC.  When I pick up the phone, I don't hear anything about a cab.  All I hear is "Waiting outside.  Press 1 to confirm. Press 2 to cancel".  You're not given an explanation, you're not given an option to speak with a human being to find out what the call is about, you cannot call back the number that called you, and you're not given a number to call back.Because of my work, I cannot turn off my cell phone during the night.  You have no idea how bleeping annoying it is to be awaken in the middle of the night a few nights in a row, and not only it is not a real emergency, it is this **** a***n.If someone from Red Top Cab is reading this, FIX YOUR **** RESERVATION CONFIRMATION SYSTEM!

Tak, unless you're a spam bot, please don't post about things you don't know about. These guys are not shady dealers and they are not scammers. They are a legitimate taxi cab service and one of the best in the DC area. They would not be calling you unless you or someone else gave them your number.If you're a spam bot, I don't like your kind.

These guys are shady dealers and scammers and if you get a call from them file a 1088 Complaint with the FCC at https://esupport.fcc.gov/form1088/consumer.do and if you are on the National Do Not Call List, file a Complaint at https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx.If the government gets enough complaints from you, we can put these guys out of business.

it is red top, was getting 2 calls every morning at 830am 840am.  they had to do some research on my phone number since i have never called them from work, turns out my work line was used by a hospital and still picks up some old ladies every morning.  talk to a supervisor, the first operator at Red top was no help, my number did not come up, but when i spoke to her boss he was able to dig further and delete my #, thank god

arlington mike is right.  i called a cab last night, got in, got home, then this morning and saw two missed calls at 2 and 210.  on my cell

Numerous calls and have even spoken to someone on one occasion. What do we need to do in order to stop these calls?

No Mike, it doesn't clear. Over the last 5 months I've received at least 50 calls from this number. And I'm often roaming internationally, which costs a fortune, even to decline the call and send it to voicemail. Enough already.

Got 3 calls from this number at oh dark thirty on my cell phone.  Knock it off!

This phone number is *NOT* spam. It is the outbound dialer for Red Top Cab comany in Arlington, VA. When a person calls their reservations line (703-522-3333) and requests a taxi pick-up, the dispatcher will collect the caller's telephone number. Once the taxi is outside the outbound dialer will call the number provided, advise that the taxi is outside, then offer the choice of "Press 1 to tell the taxi you are coming or 2 to cancel the reservation." Often times callers provide the dispatch with an incorrect or false phone number, usually at late hours and under the influence of alcohol. If you receive a call but did not request a cab then the system may try to reach you several more times if you don't respond, but it will eventually clear. Hope this helps clear the confusion.

2:30 a.m. last night I got a call from this number.

Got one at 6 in the morning a***n. 2 calls back to back 703 component was the same. :( I had to wake up at 7 so it spoiled my last hour of sleep.

I suspect it is AT&T - this number called me on a Sat night at 7 pm on my home number, then it called me on Sunday at 8:30 a.m.My cell phone listed an AT&T browser message.

I got woken up at 1:21am by whatever the heck this is.

i get this phone call about twice a week at about 830am. i have no idea what it is about. if you try calling it today it has a full mailbox...also it is my cell that it calls - i don't really ever give out my cell number.

I got the same kind of call.. and when you call back it is just an answering system asking for the extension of the person you want to reach.   "Phone Spam" I guess

Got a call 7 am in the mroning saying "press 1 to confirm reservation, press 2 to cancel" and then got diconnected automatically.  Reservation for what??. When I called back, I keep getting a ma****e which loops.
