Leave a CommentI paid Comcast in full on August 12th, on August 17th I have an outsourced company attempting to collect on a bill that was already paid. They insisted I give them my credit card and pay the full amount which was already credited to my Comcast account PAID IN FULL.This is an attempt to collect on a bill that has already been paid, WHY IN THE***** IS THIS ALLOWED TO GO ON, IT IS ILLEGAL TO ATTEMPT TO COLLECT ON A BILL THAT HAS ALREADY BEEN PAID!Comcast customer service tells me they only update their deliquent customers on a weekly basis, why is this, in this day and age the account should show clear in seconds.FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD
they only call my cell. they leave a message saying i must get back asap. i've called them back before and waited 15 minutes - on hold- got sick of it and ***g up. the problem is - our bill isn't late. always paid up to date or ahead. i've talked to comcast rep.s and they have had no idea what i was talking about. the rep. was like "really? that's strange." -- but its ****ing me off. this has been happening off and on for 3 years, but seems to in cycles.
Same deal, doesn't leave messages, places on hold the moment you answer and there has never been a late payment here either.
This is a collections company hired by Comcast to collect overdue bills. Our bill was 2 days late in December and we have been getting calls since even though our bill was not only brought to date, we paid the January bill early. We keep calling Comcast and they say the problem will be taken care of but guess what? I got another call today. For 2 weeks these people have been calling when this issue should never have gone to collections in the first place. If you keep getting harrassed contact your BBB and the Attorney Generals office. It is a***nst the law to harass people after they have been asked to cease and desist. If I owed them money I wouldn't complain.
These people actually do represent Comcast, and do make automated phone calls on past due accounts that Comcast sends them. It isn't there falut, it's Comcast's. When comcast sends the account it is past due or appers to be by Comcast. these people just do their job but they can only do it as good as the imformation they have which Comcast provides and update's. If you've had to deal with these people and Comcast and you actaully listen and don't yell you'll find out that it's Comcast that is the fraud because they can get away with everything because they have a monoply ever since they took over Adelphia.Thank youAnd remember their there doing a job to make a buck just like you do! So save your blood pressure and dont take your Comcast problems out on them.
i am 100% convinced that this is a scam to acquire someone's personal information in order to committ fraud. i would recommend having this number blocked by your carrier and inform the authorities.
I also received many calls from them saying I was late on my comcast payments but I've never been late on any payments. They said they receive this info from comcast, who is always *****ing up my bills. Glad I'm not the only one who has been having trouble with this number!
I get these **** calls all the time on my cell phone and I am never, ever behind with payments. In fact for personal financial reasons I pay the same day the bill notification arrives via e-mail. I too have been asked to provide personal information without any confirmation of who I am talking too. If there was no monopoly on cable I would tell them to go %%$$#$*&^(_(*^&)**%%$#&^%$*&%%@$&^%$(&^)(*_)^&^*$#%.
multiple calls with out a message, once I caught the call i was asked to hold for the next available representative, where I was on hold for about 3 to 5 mins listening to little beeps (this is a huge pet-peave, if you call me don't put me on hold.) once a representative answered they said they were from comcast and would only offer further explanation after I provided personal info. I stated I wanted more info regarding what it is about before I gave personal info to a unknown person without more info and they ***g up on me.
called me a***n, stated they needed immediate payment on comcast bill
They called me twice and told me I was behind on my Comcast bill but I've never had a late payment.
Yeah they called and made me think I was behind and was going to get shut off. So I don't respond to it I just contact Comcast right away when that happens.
I got one, too. I am NOT behind on my Comcast bill. I called Comcast and they told me to ignore it.
I am behind on my Comcast bill. This a third party company that reminds you to pay. They were actually very nice and appropriately cordial!
