Got a call on 10/13 saying my debit card with Herring Bank was locked for my protection and to push 1 to unlock it. I've never even heard of Herring, much less have an account there. I ***g up immediately. Total phishing scam.
Ky. Resident 10/11/11 5:06PM Got same call . ***g up and Googled number. Reached this website. Most certainly a scam to get your account and pin numbers so they can clean out your bank account. Hope they are caught and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
Spam said my debit card was locked without detail of bank

I got a call on 10/8 from this number here in southwest WI. I have an Ooma phone and not even a local number, so i'm not sure what calling list they got me from. I'll ***t them down.
DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION. A financial ins***ution would never have you enter your 16 digit card number and pin over the phone. I am not even a member of Wells Fargo and I got a call. TOTAL SCAM!!!
Spam claiming to be Wells Fargo and saying my debit card was locked. Then asking you to press 1 and please enter you account information. ***? The worst part is they probably get people who actually enter their information. Sad.
I called the number back and it was a retirement department. They had already received 350 calls so they knew that the spammer was making a lot of calls and using their number.
This is definitely a spammer!!!!! Do not give them any information.
