Called my cell but I didn't answer it due to it being an unknown caller. They did not leave a voice mail message which is a huge red flag for me: I'd say a Spammer!

called me at 10:20 am eastern time and left a message but all that i could hear was silence then a click and more silence.

This is an interesting set of comments. Just posting that they called my work phone which FEMA uses for emergency and routine traffic. Government issue. No voicemail is a sign that no good purpose is afoot.

They called at 6:30AM which is a***nst the law for a business to call before 8AM and after 9PM. No reputable company would call that early in the morning. Spammer!!

Gotten a call from area code 704 today est newyork city at 4:03pm i was not by the phone when they call but when i came back to my phone it was 4:08pm so i said to myself where is that area code located so i goggle it and it said nc i dont know no one there from that area so i called it and it never ring through so i really dont know what to make of it,and another area code called me last week and told me they are investicating me and they are coming to my place of bussiness and my home first of all they did not even say my name so i know it was a scam some one need to find out why these idiot are bothering folks like me and all of you out there

Got a call about an hour ago from this number wasn't paying attention answered the phone because I have a sister in NC. They said hi this is the FBI we want to make you aware of breakins in your area... I cut the lady off and said if you were truly the FBI and needed to speak to me you would be ringing my doorbell not my cell phone.

I got a call from them today, once I answered it was a recording saying "The FBI reports there a number of break ins in my area and they'd like to put a sign in my front yard. In exc****e for the sign they'll install a new alarm system for free" then it asks to hold for the next representative...I ***g up.

This number called my sister, two of my friends, and me within 30 minutes of each other. It said it was from Monroe, NC. None of us love there or know anyone there. Weird.

I got a phone call from 704-220-1744. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. I never answer unknown calls because the majority of them are unsolicited phone calls. Seems these people were busy today judging by the comments below

I missed a call from 704-220-1744 at 4:00pm on 3/18/14, but no voice message. I was about to return the call, but from what I read above, I think it is a spam.

They called my husband's cell phone today and left no mge. My husband, in turn, asked me if I knew who might be calling him from NC (he looked up area code). I said no but attempted to call the number o a landline and was told it was not a valid number to try my call a***n. I a***n tried from my cell phone and got a Verizon message that the number has been disconnected and was no longer in service. Oddly enough, a few hours later, the same number tried to call my teenage son's cell phone....my husband just happened to be sitting beside my son at the dr's office and saw the number. My husband just texted me to let me know that the same number had just called our son. I a***n, tried to call it (thinking maybe he had given me the wrong number earlier) and I got the same message.

They called my SkypeIn number while I was away. I wanted to do a reverse lookup before I call back. Now I think will not.

Called my cell. Picked up on last ring so they wouldn't get my voicemail. There was a connection pause, but without any static or delay sound so I ***g up. As I ***g up I could hear the faint sound of a recording. SPAM! Folks, please don't do a call back on a number you don't know, that didn't leave a valid number, or that you can't find as legit on the internet. The call back habit is now be exploited in Phishing to. You put yourself at risk.

I did a reverse look up and found x5 web sites in NC that ALL are same company = Windstream Communications. They are trying to sell you a home security system! The national DO NOT CALL is in effect for cell phones now! GET YOUR NUMBER ON THAT LIST!!

Did not answer. I've been getting a lot of spam calls lately and I****ume this is one of them.

This number does not leave phone messages and when the call is returned from a land phone, the message, "Call cannot be completed as dialed" is returned from the operator. I wouldn't answer it.
