I have received so many calls from this number, I want to sue them. When I call back it just rings and rings. So****ing needs to be done about this. I'm going to continue to call it over and over a***n, so they can see what it feels like.

Call came in, left no msg, when called back only rings, no answer and no answering service. I also want to block this number.

I get home from work several times weekly and see this number on my called ID; have even rec'd calls on the week-ends. Have attempted to call the number back on different days @ various times and never get an answer.I need to determine who this number belongs to and how to get it blocked from my phone.

After many repeated ****-ups from this number I called the number above for the management of the company.  They are indeed a fundraising company for the fire department (I have no idea of the split) but the person I spoke with was very professional.  She apologized and removed my number from the list.  I will repost if this doesn't stop the calls.

Definitely call the number posted by another writer; they say they WILL take your name off their list.  We'll see!

Spread the word -- The so called "non-profit" organization is REAL SCAM Firefighters do not get even peanuts of your donation. That why scammers attack you so vigorously, week by week, month by month. If you donate once, they s**** calling much more often! It should be illegal. Donate to REAL firefighters, not to financial jesuites!

They may have a contract that splits the money 50/50, but if you donate straight to the department they get 100% of the donation.

I have been getting calls like this for about five years and finally decided to *69 it.  Really wish I would have done this sooner.  Just called 704 331 9075 and left a message.  Wow, I used to donate to the these kind of organizations!

Received a phone call from this number, they left no message. I called it back and it just rang.

Have been receiving calls off and on for over a year. Came to the conclusion that if a man answers the phone he ****s up or will say he dialed the wrong number. What he is after is for a woman to answer because he thinks they are a better touch for a donation to the Firefighter****ociation, which only gets about 3-5% OF YOUR DONATION. fOR ALL THE HONEST FIREFIGHTER THIS IS A DISGRACE......

Got a call from 7040248-9016 on Sunday afternoon at 5:28pm eastern.  Caller ***g up after I picked up after 3 rings. Strange.

Kept getting these **** up calls - found this website - and just called the 704 331 9075 number and was told they would indeed take my number off the list!  So let's see if that works!!!  Thanks so much to poster who provided the info.  I work at home and this is very disruptive.

Yeah, they just called me.  Looks like they are one of these "non profits" that raise money for a good cause, but spend the vast majority of funds on their own fundraising organization.  If you want to donate to the firefighters, just give them a call - that way all your money goes to the firefighters, and doesn't support some telemarketeers that try to call everybody in Charlotte every week.  If you send these guys money, you're giving them the means to call more people more often.  And they'll be calling you back plenty as well.

I got calls from this number (home office and home) and it freaked me out.  From my searches on the internet, I found out it was Charlotte Firefighters asking for a donation.

Got a call from 704-248-9016; rang several times then ***g up when I answered.  Called back and number was busy.

Got a call from 704-248-9016 several times and they **** up when phone is answered....no message left when we weren't here to pick up. Called the number back and it appears to be a fax line.

Got a call from 704-248-9016.  No name on caller ID but the location listed was Charlotte, NC.  No message was left.
