Leave a CommentHe has called me several x's this week from North Carolina #704-992-9044, ****s up when answering ma****e comes on. Just now called, my son answered the phone he told him the person he was asking for wasn't here, asked who was calling...wouldn't answer & ***g up. He called back, I answered...he asked for my husband a***n..I told him he wasn't here, he told me he just spoke to him 2 minutes ago, I said that was impossible because he is not here, who is calling, he ***g up a***n...I did reverse look-up & came up with this Jamie Kopish...obviously a scam, otherwise...what would be the problem with announcing who you are & why you are calling!! BEWARE!
OH MY!!!! I got the same "pre-screen" questions, I didn't get a call back right away, I honestly had forgotten about it. Then fast forward...I've been getting calls like 2-3 a day asking for my Husband, each time he calls my Hubsband is at work, and when I ask for a message he just says "no" and ****s up. This has been going on for a week, finally today when he called I said "No he's not here and you know what" (I was trying to get him to leave me a message) he just cut me off and said "No, goodbye". That's when I decided I was going to figure out who this idiot was, and would'nt you believe it, his name was 2nd on the google search I did! Thank you ALL for leaving your comments, sorry you're having do deal with him also.
Looks like Jim Kopish is using new number. I got one phone call from 509-492-4662 to let me know about a program to help me reduce my credit card interest rates. They have four questions to "pre-screen" me. 1. Did I have at least $7000 in credit card debt? 2. Did I have some interest rates of 10% or more? 3. Am I current on all my credit card payments and 4. I don't remember. Apparently, I answered "correctly" and was told that an "account specialist" would call me back with more information. The call back was about 15 minutes later from this phone number: 704-992-9044, with the caller ID of Jamie Kopish. After introducing himself as Jim Kopish from Sovereign Financial and telling me that he can lower my credit card interest rates, he asked how much credit credit debt I have. I told him that I'd like to learn more about the program before I told him any more information. He immediately ***g up. I thought that it might have been a mistake and the phone disconnected by accident. He never called back. That's when I Goggled his phone number and found this thread.
Same guy, same company, same tactics. He is using a new number 704-992-9044. 4/28/2011
Just got the same call today fromt the same person. Looked up the company on line while talking to this young man. Told him what I was looking at and he told me most of the post were from disgrunteled people that didn't like to be bothered with calls so they in turn make these negative post. I told him I would do a little research on his company and he even gave me a number to call him back. Guess what? Was the same number that is posted on most of the sites I have been to checking this company out. There has to be a way for the BBB, telephone companies, or some ***nch of the law to stop these predators from using this type of scam on people who are trying to get out of debt without going deeper in because of "their" greed. I wonder if his parents know what he is diong to people and how proud they can be of him.
Got a "pre screening call" from 204-784-0489 it's a Manitoba, Ca***a number. Ask a few questions and said I qualified for a interest reduction on my credit cards and someone would call me back with details. Within thirty minutes got a call Jim Kopish (caller id showed Jamie Kopish 704-274-9573) it's a ***tersville, North Carolina number. After answering a few questions he ask for my CC number to qualify me for the program. RED FLAG!! He kept insisting I needed to trust him and let him help lower my CC interest rates. He told me he was with East Valley Financial and gave me 866-208-9351 as a call back number. A***n he ask several times for my CC number to "get things s****ed". RED FLAG!! I end the call telling him I wanted to do some research and told him I'd call him back. I don't think I'll be returning that call. Stay clear of this one, it sounds too good and Mr. Kopish was a little to pushy wanting a CC number.................
This Jamie Kopish is at it a***n. Just called looking for my daughter. When I said she wasn't here he just ***g up. This same thing has happened several times over the last few weeks, I have answered several phone calls for my daughter with numbers that we don't recognize and after we trace them, the address provided leads so us to some place in the middle fields or empty lots. Very strange! I'm not sure what program they are using to get these untraceable numbers or what company is selling them to them, but I'm almost certain it for no GOOD!! EVERY ONE BEWARE!!
I too got a call from thiis number on my cell. I didn't answer it or call it back. Thanks for posting the warning.
Just called me today!
This comment is an attempt by Jamie Kopish to steer some business his way. Better be careful Mr. Kopish. There are many people upset with you...What a loser.
I've reported Jamie Kopish on another website today. This is a scam and should be reported to the proper authorities...FBI etc.
This is a scam! When asked any questions they just **** up. Also you can not call them back as you get a busy signal. This really is a scam and the positive comments above may be also.
called with the reduce my credit rate. asked for information about the company through email and he refused said he does everything over the phone. I said I was hesitant to give out credit info over the phone so he ***g up. Definitely sounds like a scam!
I enrolled in this company about 2 weeks ago. They have been on top of everything since day one. So far they seem like a reasonable outfit. I was concered at first cause the gentleman that called me showed on my caller i.d. as being from North Carolina but the information I got was from Arizona. Later I found out the main office is in Arizona but they do work out of several states. So far I'm pleased with the work and honesty they have done.
I also spoke with Mr.Kopish on may 22nd. He gave me this big s***ch that he can help me with my credit card interest rates but I told him I need to research the company. I was very hesitant at first cause I seen these postings about him and their company. However, I did go with the program ( desperate needs I guess) and I did get the help I was looking for. They helped me with my interest rates and with good customer service. I agree that you have to be careful but this company did provide
This wacko just called me this afternoon - 7/9/09. Would not take no for an answer when I said I need to talk with my husband. When he tried to sell me harder, I said I would need to google and check this company out. He ***g UP!!!!PLEASE BEWARE OF THESE CALLS... IF IT'S TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT REALLY IS!!
Jamie called me and I reported him to the FBI in North Caroline which is were the area code is registered. In addition, I got the address****igned to the phone number listed above. 15464 Stonehollow ***tersville North Carolina.
Yes, jamie Kopish called me as well. I think he is a fraud. Be careful.

He told me he was from Masa, Arizona and was with a company called eastern financial
