Call repeatedly no one there

Call from 704-874-0178 Caller ID is "North Carolina" but no one said anything when I answered.  When I tried to call it back, it disconnected.

rec'd call on landline by husband..went to answer..disconnect....called number back on cellphone just rings....phone number does not register to anyone on line? knew it had to be atelemarker ? as all my phone calls are to my cell number as landline for business only

I also registered the phones to the do not call, honestly I feel that the list is given to these people with the harrassing phone calls.

Rec'd this call a few minutes ago.  Answered and no one on the other line. Caller ID: NCFFA

Caller claims he is representing the North Carolina Fire departments. I ***g up.

this number calls about once a month. nothing on caller id. i tried calling this number back and it just rings, no answer.

Received a call from 1-704-874-0178 did not leave message. All phones in this house on do not call registry, but yet get these type of calls all the time.  From one number or another. Does the do not call registry do any good? Apparently not.
