I got a call several times from this number.  It is AmeriCredit Financial Services from what the message said.  And I also was told it was for a reference; however, the person who they are calling about does not recall giving out my info for such a thing.  Makes me wonder now how these people got my name and cell number.

We also received a call from this number ...asking about a friend of us...it was so strange because they want to know where he was currently living or we know anything about him and that he gave then our phone number as a reference...we didn't give any information anyways but it sound so strange to us...Does anyone know which company it is, and why they are making these calls?..thanks.

It is a prank call of some sort, located in Ontario, but reverse dial up says it is also in the united states. If anyone has any info please respond, thanks

I have gotten several calls from this number.... one was a recorded message that had a close friends name in it and said he used me for a reference.  He never applied for a "financial" anything so it is thought that his crazy x that I don't get along w/is signing me up for these calls.  I have gotten several other calls that result in a **** up so... no more answering that.Does anyone have any information on this company?
