Call repeatedly, no message, no such number on call back

We get two to three calls from this number daily but when the answering ma****e clicks on, they **** up. This has been been their calling pattern for weeks. We answered the call yes****ay because the caller had been so persistent and because it appears to be a local number but they refused to say who they were, what they wanted, but when offered, didn't request a call-back from the specific person that they asked for but was not available at that time.
