they call and I get a recorded message that asks for me by name. I have waited before only for them to **** up. annoying.

This is a automated message from TrueNorth Debt Collectors. If they wanna get a hold people, why don't they just have a real person call rather than ask that you call back??? i ain't calling back because i will probably get charged for it.

I believe it is some form of tele-marketer or collection agency.  They are definitely not very professional however as they tend to not leave voicemail or have the wrong personal info.

Just got another call this time they left a message for someone named Ishmael.

I also have an unlisted number only given out to who I choose and have received a call with no message. will check my call log tomorrow to see what it comes up as

Same as Cindy, 2 calls in about 2 hours, no message.  I have very few people in my life that know my cell number. It is a new number, just got it May 8th.

Recv'd two calls in two hours while at work today (on my cell phone). I did not pick up, they left no voicemail. Called them this evening and asked why they called me and they demanded to know my phone number or they wouldn't tell me. I refused and googled the number - seems many others have had the same experience and could find no useful information about who these people represent or why they would have my cell number which I never give out.

Received a phone call from this number.voice message left just a **** up?
