I received three calls in two days from these people.  The lady had a very bad accent. she must have been from India and claimed her name was Angelica Williams. She said she was from a law firm.  I work for a law firm and I asked her what law firm. I could not understand what she said.  I aksed if it were personal business for me or if it had to do with business for my law firm.  She said business for my law firm.  So i continued to ask her what case, what did she want and she didn't even know what to say.  I told her if this is a personal call to stop calling this number cause she will get nowhere with me. She of course, ***g up.  Don't let these people intimidate you.

I GOT A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER SEVERAL TIMES, AND THEY THREATEN TO HAVE THEIR INVESTIGATOR COA CALL LIKE THIS IS ME BY MY HOUSE AND ARREST ME. I AM A 43 YEAR OLD MALE WHO HAS THANK THE LORD BEEN IN ANY TROUBLE WITH THE LAW, AND TO RECEIVE NOT GOOD. I DID APPLY FOR A PAY DAY LOAN BUT COULD NOT GET IT BECAUSE I HAD A PREPAID DEBIT CARD NOT A REGULAR CHECKING ACCOUNT.

I just called this number and talked to a mr Chris Brown, i have  been messing with them for days, but on this particular call he informed me that they pull in over 10 grand a day from ppl falling for this scam.. he then went on to say, and i quote"We use this money to support terrorism, and the middle eastern people were the real victims of 9/11" end quote... *****. thats not even the best part, they told my buddy that they were gonna come to his house and **** and **** his children... LETS ALL CALL THESE ARAB POS's AND GIVE EM*****

I keep getting calls at work. They say that they are a law firm.... whatever. I hope they realize that they are harrassing me at work. They can get into a lot of trouble for making threatening calls. I will be filing a complaint a***nst them.

A friend (and reference) was called today. The message was that I was being sued for money owed. They did not give my friend a name, date debt accrued, amount or company involved. Friend said they sounded very threatening. I Googled the phone number -- 707-832-4632 -- to discover many other people have received these calls. I'm sure there may be an old debt out there someplace from a dozen years ago that I owe. But -- this isn't bill collecting; this is harrassment. I'm sending email to Indiana Attorney General.

I am hoping they call me a***n because I am going to act like I want their help and want to send them money in hope that they give me an address or PO Box.   They will probably want access to my bank account but I am telling them I don't have a bank account anymore and will need to mail them a money order.   This is a scam so just report them and eventually they will stop calling you.

This is a scam...do not be worried or stressed out.  He called my parents home and my employer three times yes****ay.  Apparently yes****ay someone taped into their business line and c****ed the message on the answering ma****e allerting us all that this is a big scam.

Some Indian sound lady called threatening me "or my appointed attorney" to call.  They called me from a 858 number, which I googled and it is the same scam.  I called the 707 number, the"law firm" and some guy answers "hello".  It sounded like he was in a room full of people, probably fellow Hindus making 38 cents a day to harass people on the phone.  I cursed them out and called them scammers and told them to never call my house a***n.  The same knuckleheads were calling abou5tt 3 weeks ago from a New York and then a Texas area code.  These people are s*** and all you can do is keep filing complaints with the FTC.  Every time they call I file another complaint with the FTC.  Don't be scared by them and don't send them any money.  It is all a bunch of BS.  They figure if they call 100 people, they can probably scare 1 or 2 into sending them money.

wow 3 times in 2 hours! I finally told them i know they are a scam and fraud and they called back 3 times in 5 minutes ... threatening me that tomorrow morning some federal officers will be at my door to arrest ment and take me in for judgement! I need to come up with the 1,000.00 for payment now in order to stop it! What can be done about this kind of calls? They need to stop because I was truely afraid because they mentioned names of my children as well!

What can we do to get these stopped?  They are calling my work and calling me and I can barely understand them--and they make frightening and untrue claims.

Recieved call threaten to have me picked up by federal police tomorrow ... for loan in 2009 which i did not get one in 2009! threaten to have my job notified and i have only 2 hours to respond with 1,000.00 to pay or else i will do time in jail. also have threatened to pick up my children as well ...

Yes I have been receiving the same types of phone calls for the past couple of days.  The guy calling says that his name is Marcus Williams and he is calling from the a lawfirm.  When I asked what law firm he was with he said ACS. I personally thought that it was hilarious and I told him that I would be reporting him to the authorities.  They couldn't give me any information when I asked them to verify where this lawsuit was coming from except to tell me that it was from Cash Advance Payday and happened in 5/09 in the state of Florida.  This was even more funny because I did not live in the state of Florida in 2009.  I told him that I knew that they were a fraud company and that I was recording him and was going to forward this information to the police.  He then became very beligerant with me and I ***g up.

I too, have been getting calls like this for months now.  They have also called my references.  It is alla scam.  DO NOT SEND THEM ANY MONEY.  Do not give them any information.   I just dont answer the phone if I do not know the number.   These people need to be stopped but according to law enforcement officials that I have spoken with,  not much can be done about it because they call fromcell numbers that cannot be easily traced.

Some guy keeps calling me claiming that a lawsuit is being filed a***nst me & I have 3 major charges and that I needed 2 call him back.Said that if he didnt hear from me that the officers would come to my billing address or place of employement to take me to court and arrest me tomorrow...The guy claims to be Chris Brown calling in behalf of The Law Firm of Kevin Foster.I would like to know who this person is that keeps harassing me.It is a guy with a heavy accent and it is coming from a very noisy background.And the person cant even*****ounce my last name correct.I have had payday loans in the past and they say the creditor is some cash advance place.They have all my information & it really scared me to the point where I got sick after ****ing up.I have little kids and a single mom working full time and barely making ends meet and I dont need the added stress of these people calling and harrassing *****e caller ID always says Unknown but they leave me voicemails and threaten to arrest me.On one of my old payday loans I used my sister in law as a reference & they even called her and told her that since I used her as a reference she could get arrested.And they got real **** with her.I just want these people to stop harrassing me and my family.The payday loan they r claiming I owe them was for 150.00 & they r telling me I owe them 998.87 and if the officers go to my billing adress or place of employment to arresst me that i will need 6000.00 at the court room.Please help me figure out why this is happening to me.

SCAM!!!! A guy claiming to be Alex Brown calling from a fake Law Firm just called me and said I was being sued for debt I do not owe.  THIS IS A SCAM! Do not give these people any money and report it to your states attorney.  Tell them not to call you anymore and record the phone call is possible. Most of these people get your info if you have taken out a payday loan.
