This is how they try to get around the do-not-call rules. If they can get you to call THEM, they think they've established a "relationship" with you -- they might even sell your number then.

I received this call from PennDel Communications Feb 7, 2011:"Hi this is Christopher calling from Pendell communications. I have made numerous attempts to reach you regarding entry form that was put on your name within the last 12 to 18 months to win a new car. This was my final attempt to notify that your name was pulled as a winner. We are going to award you one of  of our top four major prizes.  It will be in your best interest to give me a call back as soon as possible. My number is toll free at 1-866-312-9553 ext. 109. We're not telemarketing agency or timeshare. This is not a cold call. So please do not ignore this message. I'm very aware of the  do not call list so I wouldn't be calling unless you actually entered. This is a time sensitive matter. I look forward to hearing from you. Once a***n congratulation. My name is Christopher"I ignored it, but he called a***n this morning and my husband answered the telephone at 8:20 a.m. Immediately "Christoper" told my husband he "dialed the wrong number," but *69 check of the caller ID says it's the same guy!!!

Bill collectors have limited hours to call. Telemarketers aren't allowed to call you if you're on th do not call list. This is a scam, the call comes form Illinois, tries to get time share appointments.

Got a call from Prize Crd Svc at 10AM on a Sa****ay.  When I said*****o, the person replied "Oh, sorry.  I have the wrong number."  Very su****ious.

No message left, probably some kind of credit card scam.

Got a call from a "Prize Crd Srvc" which sounds totally bogus considering they called at 8:51 AM.  It was my understanding that telemarketers are allowed to call only between 9 AM - 9 PM.  Thank goodness for caller id, but it is annoying to be constantly interrupted by such calls.
