Wanted to know my name...told him he called me so should know my name already. Then transferred me to James Gore who couldn't talk because "the line has to stay open" He would love to call me back later. Left me another message to call 708-654-7816. Have filed a compalint with FCC
thanks for the ups on this! just got a call from Bruce Stevens !people work hard for thier money. this man or organzation should be put to rest. please follow up and get these people arrested now !
Two days ago "Bruce Stevens" called giving me the same pitch as everyone else above. I called a State Official's office who said it was a scam. I then called "Bruce" back (actually got to talk with him) and told him I checked and found he was a scammer. So, now he knew that I knew...and he was a bit thrown.****ed, if I didn't get a robo call from "Bruce" (using a different number) tonight (Christmas Eve) with the same spiel! Next week I guess I'll followthrough with a call to the FTC....and, maybe 60 Minutes might be interestedin shining a spotlight on "Bruce" and Prize Management Services. Theinternet seems full of "Bruce" complaints.
We must all be pretty lucky to be getting the same message. I love caller ID so that I know not to pick these up, but what about the DNC lists?
Got the following call yes****ay: "Hi Folks, This is Bruce Stevens at Prize Management Services, the Gifting Department, calling a***n. This is our second attempt at trying to reach you, with regards to an entry form submitted with your telephone number with the hopes of winning a car. You guys are actually guaranteed recipients of one of our top four major gifts. You must give us a call back. We do have great news for you. You have a 48-hour period to respond back, I have good news for you, so call back toll-free at 877-548-3960."
Re'd this scam call today from "Bruce Stevens" at Prize Mangement Services at 708-396-7364 to call back 1-877-548-3960 within 48 hrs to claim my prize (automobile or other guaranteed top prize). I'm on the DNR lists and always opt out for future communication when I enter contests.
Robo call so****ing about winning a new suv.
Obviously, these scam artists are now violating the new "no robo-call" rule as well. If there initially contact with me violates federal law, why do they think that I would ever do business with them?
Same call as Wayne got about winning a contest for a new car. I didn't call back because I had heard it was a scam.
This is a scam based in Illinois, purporting to have a new auto that you have won! I didn't bother to see how much they wanted me to send for taxes - or whatever - in order to receive the car.
