I was initially contacted via email through AutoTrader regarding a vehicle sale. He offered to send check overnight, have vehicle picked up, but would not speak on the phone with seller. Instead gave this number for texting.

Scam about buying a car I listed on Autotrader
Responding to an ad in Auto Trader wanting to deal outside of Auto Trader, Says he will send a bank cerified check and have someone pick it up later. Offered $200 to take it off the market. This is the exact same scam MO I've seen with other reports on this website.
