I received 3 calls so far, no messages were left and there isn't a reason i would be receiving these calls.

Received 2 phone calls on my cell phone from same number.  Didn't answer thinking if it was important a voicemail message would be left.  Didn't happen.

708-596-8000 called me today and I didn't answer because I didn't know the number. I waited to see if their was a voicemail left but there was not one. I called back and it is to the courthouse. I have no idea why they would be calling *****is is very strange.....

Same tthing happened to me this morning.  I had a call from 708/5968000.  I knew goodness well I had no busines with the Markham Courthouse.  So I called and held for about an hour, but I ***g up anc checked my voicemail, and it was a Dr from Oak Forest Hospital trying to reach me.....very coincenditial?

someone called me from this number my 3 year old daughter picked it up while playing with my phone, I tried to call it back and found out it was cook county court.  I have no idea why i received the call.  I got a little nervous though.

This number will show up on your caller ID if anyone in ANY Cook County building dials outside of their Cook County Network.  Some Cook County buildings include Strogers Hospital, Oak Forest Hospital, Cook County Courthouse.  For example, if a nurse decides to call her family from a Cook County hospital, then this of several possible numbers may appear, even though it is directly registered to the Markham courthouse proper.

it turned out to be from a friend of mine who works in county government.

I got a call from this number...the automatic voice spoke in Spanish...i called it back and realized it was a courthouse....so weird

i also recieved a call from this number, I think the private/random calls may be from someone who has a court date or court appearance, that would be the best guess i have.  I guess w***ver may be tryign to contact a family member or friend.  I cant imagine why else they would be using the phone from the courthouse

got a call from this number on my caller id 2-10-08.  Can't imagine why.

I received a call from this number at 1:00 A.M. I woke up, and went to reach for the phone only to find an unrecognizable number and of course, no message.

This number belongs to the Cook County Courthouse Building 6th District, in Markham, IL.  I received a call from this number yes****ay to my cell phone in the early afternoon, but I was on a motorcycle and was unable to answer it.  Have no clue what it was about and I have no dealings with any of the departments****ociated with the courthouse.????

Just a intermittent beeping noise almost like a fax ma****e

Woman called, was talking to someone in the background. When I asked why they had called me she giggled and said "Oh, sorry." Called 2/7/08 at 9:05a.m.
