Leave a CommentThis sounds like the exact same number and scam reported previously, a person or ma****e message "Jim" calling me to say "I won the prize" in "the drawing" at "the mall" and call back a different number. Caller ID also said "Homewood, IL". I don't pick up calls from unknown numbers so I let it go to the VM box. It is a "vacation package" scam that sells you vacations at grossly inflated prices compared with what you can get by looking on the internet yourself through reputable companies. They get you to go to a seminar and then put the high-pressure sales tactics on you, including s****ing at a $10,000 package price and then slashing it down to where it's still 30% more than what you could get by booking it yourself. They are actively under investigation by the TX Attorney General. Don't fall for it.
