I received a text regarding my resume posted on CareerBuilder.com I uploaded my resume yes****ay afternoon and did not apply to this company. They claimed to be from Newport Medical Solutions. I contacted the company directly and they informed me have had multiple issues regarding this spamming **** (my wording not hers). She was very friendly and professional. Hope this helps.

Medical alert shipping scam

I get a call from this number every day. It's a voice recording "from the shipping department with your medical alert..." That's when I **** up.

I would love to reconnect with the individual who is pestering a friend of mine. Can someone take away their toy. These people are preying on older Americans vulnerable to questionable approaches. If this number traces to MCI, I would think MCI would have a vested interest in clearing their name and reassigning this number to a responsible party.

I get calls from this number constantly and don't answer. They never leave a message! That shows it's a big SCAM and an automated calling system that keeps dialing numbers and only "talks" when a actual person answers the phone! My advice.... check your caller ID first before answering. Nothing IS FREE!! AND if anyone is sending you so****ing.. they'd TELL YOU.

Just got what appeared to be a pre recorded message that I would be receiving a medical alert system that someone may have bought for me. Said it was free. I tried to interrupt but I finally just ***g up the phone. If I get a package, I will have it returned. I think the scam is not only sending the goods but paying to send it back if possible.

They call to say they have a medical device that is ready to ship.

They called my mother-in-law trying to deliver a Life Alert that was totally bogus.

Thanks John but no thanks. They're getting more 'realistic' with their recordings and that's scary for the older adults who are more trusting then some. They need a conscience! Shame on them.

"John in the warehouse" Almost a daily call from different Chicago phone numbers. Scam preying on senior citizens. BEWARE!

Same call re med. equip. that others have reported. This comes on my land line. I am on "do not call" list. There have been multiple calls from this number. It is dangerous for me to have to run to answer these calls--or even to find out who is calling. How can this be stopped? I need my phone for sick relatives, so can't disconnect. This is abuse.

recorded caller said that someone had ordered and paid for a medical alert device because someone had at one time fallen at that address, he then said so that they had the right address to ship the free item to, that I merely needed to merely press "1" on my phone keypad (my su****ions is that should I do so, I would be connected to some 900 number where trusting and naive people would be unwittingly charged a big fee for, or some other dubious thing) So, I just **** up and wrote that number down on my avoid list.

I keep getting calls telling me my order is ready to ship on an item I know nothing about. It is a safety alert system, the kind in the commercial, "I've fallen and I can't get up". I realized today when I answered the call that it is a recording. I tried to call the number but was told the number was not in service. I do not want to receive any more of these calls, but I don't know how to stop them. I never ordered any device like the recording says I did. Is the government behind these annoying calls??
