Calls 2-3 times every single week and does not leave a message. Very annoying. Caller ID says "ILLINOIS CALL".

Good grief.  Another phone scam operation asking for money.  They get around the do not call list because they are a charity. I understand with tough times legitimate charities have to use these phone solicitors, but I refuse to give money over the phone.  Legitimate charities are going to have to find other ways to collect money.  The admin cost of most these phone "SCAMS" is too high.  Some have such loopholes that only 4% goes to the charity, while the rest goes to some "*****" in Florida living on the beach and playing golf all day.  Stop calling!  I advise everyone to use call blocking technology and never pick up a call without a valid caller ID.  It is a shame we can no longer pick up our phones without getting scammed.  I know people need jobs, but telemarketing is OVER!  That goes for bill collection too.  Use the mail or take the person to court.

look up the number on the net it states it comes from Oak Lawn,Il must be a telemarker.

Thanks for all the posts here. I just looked it up and wandered here because it was on my caller ID. From what you describe is is likely one of those medical debt collector automated services that calls and tells you to hold THEN tries calling the company who put you in their database. Pretty imm**** practice really.

Wanted money for a police organization that helps keeps kids off the street in Will County.

Just got a call from them on a ***nd new #.  They asked for the owner of the old # and even after I explained to them they had the wrong party-they went right into their spiel about how they are TIA and collecting money for the will County police department and others.  He thought I ***g up and s****ed saying "Hello...hello".  Then I got to listen to him talk to all his co-workers about how I was begging to give him $35 but the head of household got "all ****ed off and ***g up"  Heard some other interesting discussions from these ******bags before the call got disconnected.  NEVER GIVE MONEY TO ANYONE CALLING YOU SAYING THEY REPRESENT A POLICE ORG-THEY DON'T.

Got calls from this number before. I never answer unidentified calls. Got a call 8:58 8/19. This is an Oaklawn #. Did not answer a***n and after reading other comments glad I didn't.

these idiots keep calling me, when I answer the phone, it ****s up. I am on the DO NOT CALL list, but they keep calling. I tried calling them back, but get a busy signal. I wish I could call them all hours of the day and night to annoy them as they annoy me.

Oak Lawn,IL came up on caller id. I answered it and it said wait to be transferred and then it ***g up. Tried calling back and got a busy signal.07/23/09 6:48 pm

Relentless calling, caller ID showed Oak Lawn, IL.  Answered and got a recording saying it would transfer me to the next available operator and then disconnected.  Call blocked them, seems the only thing you can do since reporting it does absolutely nothing

Caller identifying themselves as a disable veteran organization soliciting donations. I am not familiar with any vet organization dialing for donations. I wish this tele marketing company discontinues.

Lots of noise in the background, like there was a call-a-thon or so****ing; when I picked up he was still having a conversation with someone in the background. He asked for me by name, and when I asked who was calling, he asked a***n. This went through 3-4 loops of "is ___ there?" "who's calling?" I finally said I could take a message, and he said to say that "Jay" called. Never identified himself beyond that.

A man asked for me by name. He said that his name was Jason calling from a Police Department. Very sketchy sounding man and lots of noise in the background.

Called - no message.  I don't answer if caller ID doesn't identify.

I wish they would stop calling - if I had money to give it would be different ... leave us alone

I was knee deep in a project, phone rang 2x and they ***g up.   I called back and it rang and rang and rang (for 3 minutes!)

Caller ID said Oak Lawn. Did not pick up. It was another one of those annoying ****ups.

Received this call on 7/31.  Wish for Children a charity for kids that sounds like but isn't Make a Wish Foundation.  I declined.
