It won't guarantee stopping telemarketers from calling altogether (because it varies and depends on your location) but it does help in stopping a number of calls such as the ones from Alliance****et. Well, for me it did. I haven't heard from them and many others for quit a while now, although I still get call from several others but it is not as frequent as daily calls throughout the day. Now maybe it's several times a week (1 or 2 call a days). they call constantly and normally don't leave messages. i have picked up before and they've asked for people who don't have this phone #. very annoying - happens a few times per week.

Collection Agency keeps calling. They are looking for Ana E Sanchez(I am Ana Maria Sanchez). In many occasions I have explained to them that I'm not the person they are looking for but they just keep calling. In fact the already s****ed calling my daughter. they just won't stop calling.

This number calls several times a week.  At one point, it got so annoying, I answered and told them the person they were looking for was not at this address - they still call and have called for months.  When I do not answer, they leave a long-winded message on my recorder - very, very annoying.  In their message, they identify themselves as some sort of debt collector asking for someone who does not reside at this number.  They also call from a 712-***-3521 number.

the person calls and asks for an unrecognizable name, obviously not mine and requests that i call back. this call has been occurring at least 3 -4 times a week for the past 2 months.

I repeatedly get calls from this number, caller ID says AACC.  When I answered the other day, I said "Hello" several times and a man finally asked for Joseph.  I had him repeat who he wanted and I more clearly heard him say "Joseph."  When I asked who was calling, he hesitantly said a name. I get tired of people calling, not replying when you answer, and not identifying who they are.
