Your electricity will be turned off in about 30'. I was transferred to another line and they asked me to write down a code. I told them to call me back when I could be home and have access to my laptop to look at my bill. So far, no one has yet to call me.

This is a scam. I pay my electric bill over the app and happened to do so yesterday which was 2 weeks early for due date. However this 713-207-7777 number calls my husband and tells him our electric will be shut off in 24 hrs due to non payment. It was a robo caller, but I guess it requested him to push a button, and then make payment due to non payment

Said they would shut off the electric if we did not go to a walmart to make a payment of almost $500.00 dollars. The electric is on auto draft & had my current bill with me & shows current & owed $159.89. Then they hung up on me!

TELLS US THEY WILL SHUT OFF OUR ELECTRICITY WITHIN 30 MIN CALL TO PAY. WE DON'T EVEN USE RELIANT ENERGY. SCAM!!!

Work at a business, we get these calls multiple times a month. Seems to be a valid number for Reliant Energy so I am assuming their number is being spoofed by scammers

It is a recording saying the electricity will be cut off in 30 minutes and give you weird directions to pay. I knew it was bogus when they said it could only be paid with cash at a random location.

We are not with Reliant Energy. We get partial voice mails saying "thank you for choosing Reliant Energy." Call block doesn't seem to work on that number. Called it back once, went to some kind of call center that would not tell me what company I called. Also called once with same "Thank you for choosing Centerpoint Energy" that time.

The number is the real phone number for Reliant Energy. I'm guessing the number is being spoofed. A recording says that the electricity will be cut off in 30 minutes, and gives a phone number to call to pay balance. IT IS A SCAM!! I've been called several times this month.
