I just got a voicemail from a man saying that his name was Officer Mike, but he had a very, very, strong middle eastern accent. He then said it was time sensitive and very important that I called back. So I did and then ***g up because I was busy, however he called back immediately and transferred me to another foreigner saying that it was my lawyer who told me I was being sued for $300 so when I asked why, he got very condescending. "Oh you dont know why?" No! I then asked what type of loan and that any loan I've ever taken out is through FAFSA and they're all deferred til 2014! He finally said it was a payday loan from a company name that I could not understand from last August. Well, I wasn't working last August! I was in school! He got angry saying he had all the proof and my social and license number. I ***g up because no one has ever had those two pieces of info except myself and my mother! She gets paid well! From the looks of other comments it seems as though I have nothing to worry about except maybe a number c****e!

I just received a phone call from a very rude man with either and indian accent or hispanic.  He said I owed $300 for an online cash advance fron US Cash Advance back in August 2009 and if I didn't pay the $300 now I would end up being subpoenaed to go to court and end up owing over a thousand dollars.  As I would keep continuing to tell him it wasn't me that I have never borrowed any money or cash advances, he s****ed cursing at me and ***g up. I called back, he answered the phone (said his name was Michael Wright gave me his bar# 7113) a***n asked him to spell out his firm's name (Carlsons) he got  **** with me a***n, called me a "MF" (I'm not going to spell this out) and then ***g up on me.  I called back and asked him where he planned on sending this subpoena to and he gave me the address where I used to work at.  Left there May 2010.  Said he had my ip address and my email address (which was my old office email address).  I told him if he sent it there I would not get it because my old boss would not forward any mail to me.  He's mad because I was able to collect unemployment, so he would not be very cooperative with anything to do with me.  If he was an actual attorney he would not be using profanity like he was.  I have called my attorney and am awaiting a call back.  And I am going to report this to the FTC.

I got a call from this number and today my daughter answered the phone. She had no idea what was going on and finally ***g up. He called about two minutes later and I picked the phone up. He immediately said "do not **** up on me a***n". Ha! Well I told him ok you got the person you were calling for and if I want to **** up the phone I pay the bill and he kept telling me I owed such and such amount and I told him I didnt owe anyone. He then proceeded to tell me I was simply not listening to him and he was simply trying to****ist me in this matter or I would be sued. I was already put off by his at***ude so before he could keep trying to over talk me I told him I wasnt about to give anyone money I didnt owe. I told him give me the company's name and I will take care of it. He kept trying to c****e the subject. Finally I told him either give me the parent company name or else **** up. He was talking in a place where it was really noisy and then had a heavy accent. Just to be on the safe side I did call the three credit reporting agencies and reported this. I dont know what all these peole may have, but Im sure he regretted calling me with an at***ude.

A man called me with a thick accent and said I had 3 illegal charges going onto my name and that they were going to transfer me to their senior attorney.  Then a woman came on the phone and the connection was bad.  So, she said she would call me back.  Then a man called me back and there was so much background noise it sounded like he was in the middle of the mall at a food court.  I told him I couldn't hear him because of the background noise and he said he'd call me back in 10 minutes and that if I wanted to settle this matter of the illegal charges a***nst me to be sure and answer.  I called my attorney and he googled the telephone number and told me this was a scam.  Then they continued to call me for the rest of the day and I didn't answer.  Then they left an angry threatening message on my ma****e at the end of the day saying they didn't appreciate me not answering the phone all day.  If I didn't call them back that charges were going to be filed a***nst me in court the next morning that would cost me thousands of dollars if I didn't call them back to settle before then.  I would like to know who I can report these people too.

I have received these same calls from Houston and New York.  These so called debt collectors are a total scam.  I contacted the FTC and filed a complaint.  These places have got to be shut down!

I received a Voicemail from 7133709229 and they claimed to be collectors for some internet payday loan company. They threatened me saying they were taking my san to court and had very good proof that would cost me thousands in court. I actually called this number back and explained that I have never applied for a loan the man transfered me to another man.... and so after being transfered to four different middle eastern accents I told him to do what he needed to do he became angry lol. But after that I haven't heard anything so far or seen any c****es on any of my account.

I received a call from this number, person could not speak good english, telling me about a lawsuit a***nst me in Houston TX.  I told him I knew nothing about a lawsuit and if he called this number a***n I would report him to the Houston Police.  I then ***g up.This number called three times, immediately after I ***g up.  I did not answer.Why can't you do so****ing about this

I got a call from 713-370-9229.  I told them I recognize these numbers, especially there heavy accents, which you can barely understand.  They said they are from carlson lawer office.  He said he is putting his lawyer on th ephone.  I told them to stop calling.

Its a scam they will also call from 315 755 5281

i also got called from the person named john butler but his voice was like *** type. he was saying that s for *** then i got that they r scammers plz dont pay them they r *** community

person named mark smith called me i cant undetstand wat he was saying his english was very poor and ***** stricy indian accent but i **** up the line

I also got many calls from this no and explained me the same.I told them I would contact my lawyer and would get back ,He then got scared and cut the line.But he has kept on calling me,I need to inform the police.

This phone number showed up as Texas in my caller ID. Two guys with an India accent possibly, one of them named "Austin White", claimed that there was a lawsuit a***nst my SSN and told me to write down a specific case number which was filled by US_cashNet accusing me of failing to pay back $300 loan I applied online. They tried to get a third person as "policeman" to further discussed me about this issue. When I declined to  talk to them further (I realize it must be a scam), "Austin White" threat to see me on court. I think I may need to report this incident to the police.
