debt collector

Called 2X already today. I pick up and there is no one there.

man was very rude. I asked they remove my number from their list as they were not calling to speak to me and they got nasty with me. I asked who they were and what type of business they were and the man said it was "none of my business". Really? I'll be reporting them to the state Attorney General's office.

I keep getting the same number calling and they don't speak so I **** up...What ****s me..they call me every Sa****ay morning and wake me up....I called them back today and they are a collection agency....I told them I was on a DO NOT CALL list and reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and Government and EXPLICITLY told them to stop EFFING CALLING ME. They said they would remove my number from their list.   I suggest calling them back and asking them to do the same :-)

I read on another website that this is a debt collection agency and they will keep calling until they find the person that they are trying to reach.

I got one too. Caller ID shows REDLINE. It was an automated voice asking to speak to someone who we do not know. It asked for me to press "2" if I believed they had the incorrect number. I was afraid to press "2" so I just ***g-up.

Don;t know who this is but description comes up REDLINE.  Anyone know who this is.  Probably debt collector.

Calls several times a day, no one on line. I have no clue who is calling, or why. We owe no debts. How to get them to stop is the question!

I have talked to these annoying people and told him on numerious occations there is nothing I can do at this time.

Under FAIR DEBT COLLECTION PRACTICES ACT, ***le 18, Part 1, Chapter 119, item 2911,  Collection agencies are in violation if they**commit harrassment/abuse (ie make repeated calls), or -**do not provide FULL disclosure ( ie they must reveal their TRUE iden***y), or -**they are allowed to contact the debtor or an attorney - but cannot call employer, or  relatives or neighbors),**they must call between 8 am and 9 pm,  **and they MUST (repeat MUST)remove your number if you EVER tell them to stop calling.  Failure to comply is punishable by law.

This number keeps calling me looking for someone else. When they give the number to call back it says "unavailable". They leave long messages on my answering ma****e too!

when i answer the call a taped message says" this call is for unavailable, If you are not unavailable please **** up now....etc" I have no outstanding bills, AND MY NAME IS CERTAINLY NOT UNAVAILABLE so I called Redline Recovery back to tell them to remove my number. Three times i have left a message for Loretta ? she has yet to call me back or stop calling my number. 7 times in 2 days.

These rude idiots keep calling me looking for someone and when I told them that I never gave them my number and that the person didn't live at my house, they told me that this number was given.  I knew the person that they were looking for, but I am not about to release information to someone else.  When I told them to take me off their list, their idiotic representative became beligerent.

These people called me looking for someone when I told them they had the wrong number they told me to wait on the line so they could remove the number then somehow managed to get my name. Don't know how because I didn't give it to them.

When I pick up the phone, I hear a nonsensical recording, but when I **** up, the line doesn't clear. I have to disconnect and reconnect the line from the wall jack. I didn't know that anyone was allowed to manipulate a telephone connection in this way. Is this legal?

These people asked for someone who does not live here and said they owed money. -I think someone just grabbed an old phonebook, and made up a name for the first initial. The name was very similar. They used my old last name with the same first initial - but guessed the wrong first name! Ha! This is why I never publish my first name in a phone book. About 20 years ago this happened to a friend of mine - and the info finally paid off.
