The toll free number to this company is 1-888-457-8585Do NOT give them any of your info. Make them send you copies of what they are alleging you signed. I am so glad that I trusted my instinct. It just didnt seem right. Why would someone contact you by email threatning to debit your account?? I have contacted the proper authorities. FYI: Please be advised that there is a Pay Day Loan scam going on. Most of these collectors claim that you have taken out a Pay Day loan in the year 2008. They use threat tactics such as debiting your account, arresting you, or suing you if you don't pay it back. It is my belief that they target individuals who have had pay day loans in the past. If you receive a call or email from one of these individuals, please please please, don't give them any info. Demand that they give you the name of the company in which you took this loan out (do not allow them to tell you they don't know because they represent so many) make them send you a copy of the contract or forward it to you via email. Make them tell you the EXACT DATE and the EXACT amount you took out. REPORT them to FTC, BBB, your Bank, and the Credit Bureaus. Treat this like an iden***y theft attempt if you feel uncomfortable. Know and understand your rights. And, if possible, do***ent your experience online so others can see this information if they just so happen to do a search on a phone number, or company name that they were contacted by. this will help others ***n the knowledge to protect themselves.
I received an email from Mr. Wayne was well. He was not able to verify my last name, or the bank I used. He got angry with me when I asked for a copy of the contract that he claimed I signed. He did forward it to me, but the wrong last name was listed. Be careful, and know your rights.
This is Judgement recovery Dept. in Houston, TX. the person that contacted me was Charles Wayne. He emailed me someone's bank aco**** and routing number. I contacted the bank and was told that this was a fraud scam that was going arount. pelase do not give them any information. The law astates: Under Texas law, a lender cannot pursue criminal charges to collect on a debt. Also, a payday loan lender is limited as to how many times a loan can be renewed.website: http://paydayloanlaws.com/paydayloan_south/?p=texas
