"Piper" just called from TX. With and invesment co. and would like to offer 317k on my home without seeing a picture. Tried to call back and nothing, mailbox is full and not reciving calls. She had a very heavy accent, sounded like she didn't know what see was talking about. House on a fsbo site not craigs list.

Since I knew it was a scam just from the weirdness of the call, I asked how she found our property.  She said Craigslist, which we're NOT on.  Offered cash $6000 less than asking.  Said she had investor and would call back.  I don't get it because she didn't ask for anything we didn't say on our fliers and on owners.com.  What would be her purpose?

Called me to buy my house in Il for cash.  Asked how many bedrooms, bathrooms, sq. ft.  Offered me cash $10K less than my offer.  Very Strange.  What's the scam?

I recieved a call from a heavy accented asian female saying her investor would buy my propety for 10 thousand less than I was asking for it. She asked alot of questions and at the end of the convertsion I asked who her investor was if he called back. She said Tim Mai. My phone picked up the number, I did a reverse call seach in the white pages on the internet and it came back originating from the City of Houston City Hall. I s****ed looking around in Google and found this WEB Site. Be very careful my freinds and check out what you can.

received a call from "Oscar" about my house for sale by owner from this number in TX - said his investor was driving around the area - asked too many personal questions. Just tried calling back - no answer and could not leave a message as mailbox was full

So like the rest.  I just got my 2nd call from the same number and name on the caller ID-Tim Mai.  The 1st time was very early in the morning on a Sunday-then the 2nd was this evening.  I was more allert this time and **** him more questions.  All he asked was if the property at my address was still for sale and asked the price-when I told him he offered cash of $10,000 less.  I asked who he (Oscar with strong asian accent)worked for and he said Tim Mai-and I asked if he was****ociated with a company-he gave me Creia.com.  I am really confused!!!

Total scam artist.

Rec'd a call today from a woman named Angel, with a thick accent, about a probage property I have for sale in CA.  I am in FL.  She asked the price, and then offered $10K less in cash.  Then proceeded to ask for details about the property.  Sensing a scam, I told her I would have my real estate agent call her back.  Sure sounds fishy.

Guy called, wanted to know about my property for sale in Kansas.  Wanted square footage and my name and phone numbers.  Offered me a cash deal over the phone.  Had a thick accent-****ese?  Anyway, I totally think it's a scam artist, but I don't know what he is ***ning. Caller ID: 713-574-1224

Got the same call a few times. My property was also on Craigs list. I told them to call my realtor, they didn't. I think this is a scam.

Said his name was Tim Mai, asked how much we were selling the house for and asked if we would take the amount offered in cash.  Said he would talk with his investors and call back.

Called my friend in Michigan about his house and said his name was Tim Mai. Made a price offer and said he was a broker.Tracked the number to Houston.

I was called today from this number asking about my condo in FL. said his name was Ben. Asked how many bedrooms/Baths. Gave me a price and asked if I would take that amount. Said he talk to his investor and let me know.

Caller had a heavy accent, spanish?. Asked questions about my property for sale in Charlotte area, Short call wanted a property descrption.

Got a call a few weeks ago, and made an offer over the phone.  Never called back.  I tried calling the number back, gave a long extension #, but mailbox was full.  What gives???
