Leave a CommentI also received a call from Meridian Managemant Services on May 24, 2010 at exactly 4:30 PM.Using the White Pages, I found the following names listed for this phone number. Ralph Ayala Erica L. BrockfieldMeridian Management Solutions 800 W. Sam Houston Parkway South Houston, TX 77042-1908 This company is also known as ***chfield &****ociates. Note the spelling variation of Brockfield. Most likely, this is not a real law firm or collection agency, but a scam operation that collect***pired or zombie debt from unsuspecting individuals. They are simply acting forthemselves, and are not acting for a client company, or actually purchased anydebt from a company.Debt expired past the statute of limitations in your state is not collectible, unless you, the debtor, made a representation to the creditor or collection agency, that you still consider your self responsible for such debt. Do not send these people any money or agree to pay, without first consulting someone qualifiedto advise you in such a matter. My problem is slightly different from the others who posted comments here. My extended Silver family is an organized crime family,****ociated with the Church of Scientology, anda detective agency known as Derish****ociates. They have been harassing me continuously for five years, as of this date. This harassment was much less frequent in 2009, but I am now receiving nuisance calls like this on a daily basis since May 17, 2010. My cell phone number was recently c****ed on May 5, 2010. The goal of their harassment of me is to push me to *******, but will never succeed, and can never succeed. These tactics are typical of Scientologists, who harass individuals for the purpose of destroying or silencing them. Harassment from Scientologists can persist for many years. It is not entirely clear why my family, relatives and Derish****ociates want me eliminated. In addition, many Scientologists often live criminal lifestyles, and engage in financial scamming.I would presume that our actors who are Scientologists, don't do this, since they likelyhave enough income already.Seth D. Derish and Seth Derish, Jr. are both now serving time in California for ****** charges.Like my sisters and relatives, they engage in various types of fraud and drug trafficking, andthe Derish****ociates also accept and execute ****** contracts.Don't attempt to deal with these people yourself, without first consultingyour local police department. Feel free to use the information I postedas you wish. I am NOT a licensed or trained private investigator.DS Research
These people seem to think that it is okey to call at 10:30 P.M. and a***n at 9:45 P.M. another night: I informed this lady that they are not allowed to call by law after 9:00 P.M. This lady informed me that she was not a salesperson and that it was ok for her to call at that time; I got ticked and ***g up.Are they above the law's?
This lady called my cell phone. left a message for a ?????? Hernandez. "If this isn't ?????, please disreguard this message". There was a LOT of background noise. There is no way this call is from a lawyer.
Rather typical- Young man claiming to represent BOA. When asked, he reluctantly admitted he was not an attorney, but said that "he worked for an attorney." Then he s****ed giving me unsolicited legal advice, which I told him I wouldn't be taking from him. I flat out told him to take me to court. In fact, I told him to hire an attorney licensed to practice law and admitted to the bar in NYS. Totally bogus.
Got another call from this #. They also use various #'s to call and they are usually within a few minutes between each call. This one did not leave a message. How rude and how dare them try to scare me. I know for a fact that my wages cannot be garnished in the state of Texas and that there is no debtors prison. I own nothing for them to put a lein a***nst. Therefore, threatem me all they want.
I got a robot call from a toll free # first stating that I needed to call this # and it wasnt a telemarketer, it was an important phone call. I called back and the lady answered "Hello". What business answers*****o?? She said may I help you and I said, I dont know, you called me. She proceeded to tell me I owed a bill from 2003 and when I began asking questions she became very beligerent....she couldn't answer my questions either. I asked for a supervisor and she put some man on the line that was laying it on THICK. He was explaining how collection agencies sell accounts, blah blah blah...I told him I had paid this bill once and I wasnt paying it a***n. This went on and on and he even told me how long we had been discussing this matter (right down to the second). I asked if there were a number I could call him back at when I decided what I wanted to do (He wanted to do a check by phone) and he stalled and told me he would just put his****istant on hold...I ***g up....Send me so****ing in writing or forget it...Let me know more details then I will look into it...I was SO frustrated when I got off the phone. I see why people just give in and give them their bank information. If I owe it, I want to pay it....but good gosh 6 years later, no notices no nothing...I moved but not until a year ago, I could have gotten notices if they were mailed...
Meridian MGMT at 713-579-7000 (Houston, TX).A message left by Ashley Mills who claimed to be with the ***chfeld Law Group. Just mere moments prior to her message, there was a call from 614-389-2600...which was also ***chfeld. Both numbers are new to me. The 614 area code is OHIO, for pete's sake. Are they tag-teaming it today?
They called my WORK number, to the general trunk number (I have my own extension). I let it go to voicemail while I looked the number up on line and found this. When I listened to the VM, she said it was for someone with a first name like mine and the last name I couldn't make out, asking if I lived at a certain address which I had never heard of and yes, it certainly did sound like it was coming from a bullpen of telemarketers. She ended the message by saying "good luck".. whatever that's supposed to mean.
Simple, yet highly effective solution: Do***ent these calls (date/time call received, who you spoke with, etc.) Thereafter, contact and file a complaint with your State Attorney General
I have received numerous calls from this number 713-579-7000, Meridian Management. I have never dealt with them in the past. Every time they say my name they say a variation of it. That is a red flag to me that they are not legit. I just let it go to voice mail. Thank you for this website. I feel guilty for not answering but I also don't want my iden***y stolen either.
Caller Identified them self as a lawyer wanting to talk, to Joe, said there aint no joe here ya ding bat and has not been for 20 years that I have the phone number.
I only received a missed call from these people so far, but I research any unknown number, and here is an interesting page concerning them.http://www.budhibbs.com/debtcollectorpages/meridian.htm

Careful with these people, ***chfeld and****ociates... I'm not sure why it comes up as Meridian Mgmt tho. If there is a possibility that you owe their clients money, you might want to consider calling them back so you don't have to deal with what happened to us. We had an ancient credit card bill that we had heard nothing on in years (my husband became disabled and we went BROKE very fast, still recovering financially). They actually filed a lawsuit a***nst my husband and had him served and we went into total panic mode. Believe it or not they were actually really nice to us when we called. Prior to this we'd never had a creditor that we didn't want to b****slap over the phone.
I rec'd a call from this number, I let it go to voice mail. The voice of the man who left a message also said he was from a law office. He didnt sound professional, it sounded scrippted, as if it was the first time he had to read his script. Repeating: It was in my best interest to call them back. Whatever, they can pound sand as far as I am concerned.
I have been dealing with these calls and letters on and off for a couple years. I have sent certified letters they say they don't have. When you try to have an intellegent conversation with the caller they get very angry loose thief cool s**** accusing you of stalling and get downright rude. They have actually ***g up on me in anger and I never raised my voice. They won't provide proof the debt is yours when you ask on writing or verbally, they rely on you admitting it's yours. Best to ignore, they s**** off talking like a reasonable person and they quickly turn on you like pit bull!
I have been getting the same kind of calls from this number and the other number that they use 8884590999. if they don't watch it there will a charge a***nst them
I received a call ref an old account from 2003 however, when i asked questions about how they attained my phone number the caller got aggrevated and s****ing telling me how this was affecting my credit, i asked him to send me the "offer" in writing. He then accused me of trying to use a stall tactic???? Like the other person said i heard a lot of chatter in the office. Oh this is the best part i offered a lower settlement amount and he "emailed" the creditor and got what seemed to be an instant reply to accept???? So i ***g up on him it was very unsettling. I just don't understand how they had my old address but my new number. why i hadn't received any letters or previous phone calls. so****ing is not right.Caller ID: Meridian MGMTCaller: did not catch that

i was on with another call when i saw this number flash across my scvreen. i didn't recognize it, so i wasn't about to switch over firuing they'd leave a voice mail, but they did not. So i entered the number that appeared on the caller Id - 713 579 7000 - and was taken to this page. so i called, and i was greeted with a "***tchfield &****ociates", suggesting a law firm. so i pressed 0 and said "i have never heard of you, i do not do business with anyone that has your name, i think you are dialing a wrong number". so she transfers me to someone that answers, "law office". does not identify the name of the so-called law office. but you can hear a LOT of people talking in the background. Most law officies i have been in in my life (my mother worked at a firm for over 30 years before retiring) are relatively quiet. this sounded like a calling floor of a telemarketer, certainly NOT a legitimate 'law firm'. i gave this t**t my number, and she didn't see my number in their database and thought it was 'dialen in error'. really? i thought these were all automated, how could someone '*** thumb' it? very annoying. i'm current on all my bills, and these appear to be bill collectors. how great is that? i get a 'new' phone number and the company merely recyled one that the previous peopl had issues or so****ing? wonderful. i asked them (nicely this time) to stop calling me - we'll see.
Said they were an Attorney, and to have me or my Atty. contact them...
Theperson whol called from this number asked for Bernard. I asked "Who is calling," and they said "Attorney Barsdale Office."
