Leave a CommentThanks for the information on the Nationaldonotfaxlist.org. As soon as I saw the .org, I realized that these people probably have an alternative motive.
Thanks.
Yes I received a fax from this phone number too regarding 'Looking for a web designer'.Same 'To unsubscribe......' information at bottom.
You'll have a problem finding them in Scottsdale -- that address is a mail service. The PMB gives it away.
I live in Scottsdale and also just sent them a fax. If I receive one more fax from them after 4/7/10, my attorneys will be accompanying me to their offices.
Actually, I did a search on Whois.net and found out that the company is also running the nationaldonotfaxlist.org.But THEIR fax number was listed in the entry: 480-624-2598. I just faxed them a note telling them I made a complaint to the FCC, and to remove me. If they fax back it would be considered harassment...which you could use to file a case Lionel. Heck, I'm in P***nix, so if they keep faxing me maybe I'll just stop by their offices.
Can you sue them in small claims court? I'm in California.
Ignoring the faxes is not the only thing you can do. Go to the FCC and file a complaint online. I have been doing it for every junk fax I receive and they have slowed by a lot, but have not stopped, yet.
The owners of nationaldonotfaxlist.org prefers that they are not bothered by unsolicited contacts. Therefore they hide their domain registration from everyone by using Domains by Proxy, Inc., 15111 N. Hayden Rd., Ste 160, PMB 353, Scottsdale, Arizona 85260. Their phone number is (480) 624 2599. However, before you call or write to them, their business is "proxying" for slime like the people authoring the faxes to sell you junk while they remain anonymous, so they will not care. Regretfully the only thing you can do is ignore the junk faxes.
I have received 4 faxes from them this weekend on my home line. As stated above, it's a Life Insurance ad with info at the bottom about a bogus NationalDoNotFaxList.org to stop further faxes. The fax header has a Sacramento phone number on it that c****es every time 916-733-3**x.One more of these and I'm filing an FCC complaint.
Just received an unsolicited fax from this number. It is a ***** way of collecting new "lead" information. A real company will have their company name, logo, and full contact information emblazoned on its correspondence. This company sends out life insurance ads, never stating their company name, only providing a facade telephone number (which I urge you never to call these numbers). Then at the bottom of the fax, they print: "To unsubscribe you must register your fax number at www.NationalDoNotFaxList.org". Please don't fall for this, no matter how official it sounds. When you register on that list, all they do is collect your (now verified as accurate) data, and sell/rent/lend your contact information to other marketing and lead generation companies. Please be aware that good companies are clear and up-front in their correspondence. They don't send ***ue advertising designed to trick you.
Sending unsolicited fax for Life Insurance. Fax contains no contact info. for being removed.
