Phone number 954-372-3527 called a relative repeatedly and told them he was my attorney, and that I was in an accident and needed money to be sent immediately. Caller identified themselves as Jefferey Morgan. I've never heard of this person, nor was I involved in an accident.

I received a call from this phone number (713-850-7101) with the person calling trying to convince me that it was my nephew and had been injured in a car accident and was in jail. He needed me to talk to his public defender. Gave me a number to call (954-372-3527) To talk to his court appointed lawyer. Then he had to go. 2 minutes later my phone rang from the number he had given me. Supposedly it was the lawyer who told me he was with the judge. Told me the woman who was involved in the accident was in the hospital 6 months pregnant. If she lost the baby, my nephew would be charged with vehicular manslaughter. He wanted me to come up with $24,000.00 bond within 2 hours. (Before the judge left for the holidays weekend). Told him I needed to talk to my wife about this before I did anything. Long story short, I never heard from them again. Notice 1 number is Houston. The other number is Ft. Lauderdale. Nephew lives about 1500 miles from both locations. Scammers!!
